Synopsis

FLC HAD NUMEROUS EQUIP PROBS IN ADDITION TO CABIN DISTURBANCE INVOLVING DEADHEADING FLT ATTENDANTS.

Narrative

SHORTLY AFTER REACHING CRUISE ALT; THE FIRST FLT ATTENDANT NOTIFIED ME THAT 2 DEADHEADING FLT ATTENDANTS AND A PAX WERE HAVING A VERBAL CONFRONTATION; AND THAT THEY WERE ALSO UNCOOPERATIVE WITH THE FLT ATTENDANTS WORKING THE TRIP. I REQUESTED (THROUGH THE FIRST FLT ATTENDANT) THAT BOTH DEADHEADING FLT ATTENDANTS MEET WITH ME IN THE FORWARD GALLEY. I TOLD THEM THAT I EXPECTED THEM TO BE COURTEOUS TO THE REVENUE PAX AND THE WORKING FLT ATTENDANTS. I CONCURRED WITH THE WORKING FLT ATTENDANT'S WISH THAT A SUPVR MEET THE FLT AND REQUESTED THE SAME THROUGH DISPATCH. I DISCUSSED MY INVOLVEMENT WITH EVENTS WITH A SUPVR AFTER ARRIVING AT THE GATE AT DULLES. THIS FLT WAS DISPATCHED WITH A DEFERRED INOP ACARS; TCASII FAILED SHORTLY AFTER TKOF AND WE HAD RECURRING LEADING EDGE FLAPS DISAGREE; LEADING EDGE FLAPS ASYMMETRICAL; AND TRAILING EDGE FLAPS WARNINGS WITH EICAS AND AURAL WARNINGS. THIS REQUIRED SLOWING BELOW FLAP EXTEND SPD; NOTIFYING ATC; AND COMPLETING 3 IRREGULAR PROCS BESIDES CONFERRING WITH DISPATCH AND MAINT. ALONG WITH A CABIN DISTURBANCE REQUIRING MY ABSENCE FROM THE COCKPIT; THIS WAS PUSHING THE 2-MAN CREW CONCEPT TO THE LIMITS OF THE ENVELOPE.
