ACR ON OCEANIC TRACK LOST COM WITH ATC AS DID SOME OTHER ACFT. DID NOT RECEIVE TRACK CLRNC. CONTINUED ON WITH FLT PLANNED CLRNC.

Narrative

ACR X WAS 90 NM W OF POGGO AT FL350. ZNY WAS EXTREMELY BUSY WITH NUMEROUS ACFT ON 132.15. ZNY CTR CALLED FOR OUR TRACK CLRNC. AN ACR Y FLT BROKE IN WITH A REQUEST FOR US TO PASS A MESSAGE TO ZNY CTR. WE WERE UNABLE TO HEAR ZNY CTR AT THAT TIME. WE DIDN'T RECEIVE OUR TRACK CLRNC AND WE WERE UNABLE TO HAVE ZNY CTR REPEAT THE CLRNC. WE LOST ZNY CTR ON 132.15 SHORTLY AFTER THIS. WE TRIED SEVERAL OTHER CTR FREQS AND WE WERE UNABLE TO RAISE THE CTR. WE CONTACTED ZNY ARINC ON 129.9 AND HF 5598 AND REQUESTED OUR TRACK CLRNC; BOTH INSTRUCTED US TO STAND BY. WE CONTINUED ON WITH OUR FLT PLAN AND FULL CLRNC AS DELIVERED TO US BY ATL CLRNC DELIVERY; IN VFR CONDITIONS. WE GAVE OUR POS RPT OVER POGGO TO NY ARINC AND GANDER ARINC. WE ADVISED BOTH PARTIES THAT WE HADN'T RECEIVED OUR NAT W CLRNC. WE CROSSED POGGO AT XX51Z AND RECEIVED OUR NAT W CLRNC FROM NEW YORK ARINC AT XY20Z. SEVERAL OTHER ACFT HAD PROBS RECEIVING THEIR CLRNCS DUE TO RADIO SATURATION OR FAILURE ON ZNY CTR. ZNY CTR EITHER WAITED TOO LATE TO START READING CLRNCS OR HAD A PROB WITH THEIR UHF RADIO RECEPTION OR XMITTER AS TO RANGE. WE NORMALLY ENTER THE OCEAN TRACKS FARTHER N AND USE DIFFERENT PROCS TO OBTAIN OUR TRACK CLRNCS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 236159: APPARENTLY; ZNY CTR 132.15 WAS HAVING PROBS EITHER TOO MANY ACFT OR XMITTER PROBS.
