Narrative
ON A QUICK STOP AT FLL ARPT; I FLEW IN; MADE THE LNDG; AND TAXIED TO THE FBO. THE OTHER PLT SWITCHED TO THE L SEAT AND REMAINED IN THE COCKPIT TO GET THE CLRNC AND SET THINGS UP; FMS; RADIOS; ETC. I LEFT THE ACFT TO SUPERVISE FUELING; LUGGAGE LOADING; ETC. ONCE THE ACFT WAS FUELED; LUGGAGE LOADED; AND PAX ON BOARD; I GOT BACK IN THE COCKPIT IN THE R SEAT. TAXI CHKLIST WAS COMPLETED ON THE TAXI OUT. I BEGAN TO CHK THE NUMBERS IN THE RADIOS; XPONDER; ALT SELECT; ETC. THE OTHER PLT; WHO HAD GOTTEN THE CLRNC SAID IT WAS ALL WRITTEN ON OUR PAPER SCRATCH PAD. SO; I READ IT AND SET IN THE XPONDER CODE; DEP FREQ; AND ALT ON THE ALT SELECTOR. UNAWARE THAT THE NUMBERS I SAW WERE FOR THE PREVIOUS LEG AND HE HAD WRITTEN OUR NEW CLRNC ON THE NEXT PAGE. AFTER TKOF; WE CLBED TO 5000 FT WHEN WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT 3000 FT. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTICED BY ATC IN TIME TO STOP; BUT WE HAD THE WRONG XPONDER CODE AND DEP FREQ. TO KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN; WE WILL RIP OFF PAGES WITH OLD CLRNCS AND THE PLT WHO GETS THE CLRNC WILL SET THE NUMBERS IN AND ADVISE THE OTHER PLT IT HAS BEEN DONE.
