Narrative
WHILE AT NECEPAH ARPT WE GASSED OUR AIRPLANES AND HAD LUNCH. AFTER LUNCH WE WENT BACK TO THE ARPT AND CHKED WX. ACCORDING TO THE RPT THAT DAY; THE ARPTS S OF US WERE RPTING IMPROVING CONDITIONS. A CORPORATE PLANE THAT FLEW IN ALSO RPTED CONDITIONS IMPROVING S. WE WERE HEADED FOR BROADHEAD; WI. ON THE WAY; CEILING STARTED COMING DOWN SOME BUT VISIBILITY WASN'T BAD. JUST ABOVE MADISON THE CEILING REALLY DROPPED AND THE VISIBILITY WENT WAY DOWN. I WAS WATCHING THE PLANE IN FRONT OF ME AND IT DISAPPEARED. I COULDN'T SEE THE PLANE I WAS FOLLOWING TURN AROUND. WHEN VISIBILITY WENT DOWN; I WAS CONCENTRATING ON THE PLANE IN FRONT OF ME AND LOST MY PLACE ON THE MAP. NEXT THING I SAW WAS AN ARPT TO MY R. I KNEW FROM THE SIZE OF THE ARPT IT HAD TO BE CTLED. RATHER THAN TURN AROUND AND TRY TO FLY THROUGH THIS WX; I CHOSE TO LAND. I DIDN'T BOTHER TO CIRCLE THE TWR FOR FEAR I WOULD FLY IN FRONT OF TFC. NOT SEEING ANY TFC MOVING; I ELECTED TO MAKE AM EMER LNDG. I LANDED ON RWY 22 ON THE APCH APRON SLIGHTLY DOWNWIND; TURNED OFF INTO THE GRASS AND TAXIED TO AN FBO AND TIED THE AIRPLANE WHERE; AFTER A COUPLE OF MINS; I WAS GREETED BY MANY VEHICLES. FROM NOW ON I PLAN TO NOT FLY IN A GROUP IN MINIMAL CONDITIONS. SO I WILL BE DOING MY OWN NAV; AND WILL BE GIVING EXTRA CONSIDERATION ABOUT EVEN FLYING IN SUCH CONDITIONS.
