A NON UNION PLT COMPLAINS ABOUT TREATMENT FROM 2 OF HIS UNION FO'S.

Narrative

SINCE I HAVE NOT WRITTEN NASA CONCERNING OVERT AND COVERT INTIMIDATION ON AND OFF THE FLT DECK TO NON UNION PLTS BY UNION MEMBERS AT ACR FOR SOME TIME; I THOUGHT I WOULD ENCLOSE SOME RECENT COM ON THE SUBJECT TO BRING YOU UP TO DATE. IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO DEFUSE THIS EMOTIONAL PROGRAMMING WHICH STILL LINGERS SINCE 1985 OR HOW TO GATHER HARD EVIDENCE TO CONVINCE OTHERS THAT IT STILL EXISTS AND THAT WORKING PLTS ARE NOT PERPETUATING THIS UNSAFE PRACTICE; PLEASE LET ME KNOW. SUMMARY OF GRAPHICS: THE RPTR IS AN MLG CAPT FOR A MAJOR UNITED STATED ACR. HE IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE ACR'S PROPERLY CONSTITUTED PLT'S UNION. HE STATES THAT HE DOESN'T ALIGN HIMSELF WITH EITHER THE UNION PHILOSOPHY OR WITH MEMBERS OF MGMNT. HE HAS BEEN SUFFERING THE RESULTS OF BEING A 'SCAB' SINCE 1985. HIS GRAPHICS ARE LETTERS TO HIS CHIEF PLT WITH ENCLOSURES DESCRIBING TREATMENT BY 2 FO'S THAT HAVE SHOWN HOSTILITY TOWARDS THE RPTR OVER LONG PERIODS OF TIME. UNFORTUNATELY; THE RPTR HAS HAD TO FLY 5 DAY TRIPS WITH THE OFFENDING FO'S IN A 2-MAN COCKPIT. THE RPTR ALSO DESCRIBES MEETINGS WITH THE UNION PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS COMMITTEE WHICH; OF COURSE; TAKE THE SIDE OF THE UNION MEMBER AND DO NOT GIVE ANY RELIEF TO THE RPTR. THE RPTR STATES THAT HE DOES NOT INTEND TO RESIGN BUT WOULD LIKE SOME HELP AND UNDERSTANDING FROM HIS CHIEF PLT. THE RPTR STATES 'THAT I LIKE TO OPERATE ACCORDING TO SOPS' AND QUOTES AN FO AS SAYING 'YOU TURN UNION MEMBERS OFF TO CHRIST.'
