AN ACR MLG ABORTED ITS TKOF AFTER BLOWING BOTH TIRES ON THE R SIDE. CREW DID NOT HEED THE EARLY VISUAL WARNING BY OTHER FLC.
Narrative
BECAUSE OF WT CONSIDERATIONS; FLT WAS PLANNED TO DEPART RWY 17L AT DENVER. TAXI WAS LENGTHY. A LONG SEQUENCE OF ARRS NECESSITATED A 30 PLUS MIN WAIT FOR DEP. WHEN CLRED FOR TKOF; CAPT COMMENCED TKOF ROLL. PASSING 100 KTS; ANOTHER ACFT IN SEQUENCE BEHIND US ADVISED THE TWR THAT WE APPEARED TO BE TRAILING SMOKE FROM OUR R MAIN LNDG GEAR. DECISION WAS MADE TO CONTINUE TKOF. AT 120 KTS WE HEARD A LOUD DETONATION AND EXPERIENCED SEVERE AIR FRAME VIBRATION. TKOF WAS ABORTED AT 125 KTS. ACFT WAS STOPPED SAFELY WITH NO INDICATIONS OF SMOKE; FIRE; OR FUEL LEAKAGE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO PAX AND CREW. ON POST-FLT; I OBSERVED BOTH R MAIN LNDG GEAR TIRES HAD FAILED. ACFT HAD SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO R MAIN LNDG GEAR WHEEL ASSEMBLIES AND IMPACT DAMAGE FROM THE DEBRIS TO TRAILING EDGE FLAPS AND #2 ENG REVERSER. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM ACN 240537: BOTH R MAIN TIRES BLEW AT APPROX 125 KTS. V1 WAS AT 149 KTS AND THE TKOF WAS ABORTED WITH NO FURTHER COMPLICATIONS. NO EVAC WAS MADE. FIRE AND RESCUE WERE NOTIFIED AND COMPANY PERSONNEL RESPONDED TO REMOVE PAX.
