WDB BEGINS TKOF ROLL WITH CABIN ATTENDANTS NOT YET SEATED.

Narrative

WHILE OPERATING AS SO ON WDB FROM MSP/ORD THE TWR CLRED US TO TAXI INTO POS ON RWY 29L. WHILE TAXIING ON TO THE RWY; MSP TWR CLRED US FOR AN IMMEDIATE TKOF DUE TO AN ACFT ON FINAL. THE FLT ATTENDANTS HAD FINISHED THE VIDEO/PA AND THE LEAD FLT ATTENDANT JUST CALLED US TO TELL US THAT EVERYONE WAS SEATED; TO WHICH I RESPONDED THAT WE HAVE BEEN CLRED AND WE ARE ON THE GO. THE CAPT CALLED FOR THE TKOF CHK. I COMPLETED THE TKOF CHK; AFTER WHICH; IN THE RUSH TO GET AIRBORNE; THERE WAS A QUESTION IN MY MIND AS TO IF I HAD NOTIFIED THE FLT ATTENDANTS OF OUR IMMEDIATE TKOF. UPON ARR AT ORD; THE LEAD FLT ATTENDANT CAME INTO THE COCKPIT AND INFORMED US THAT; WHEN TKOF PWR WAS ADVANCED; THAT A COUPLE OF FLT ATTENDANTS HAD NOT MADE IT TO THEIR JUMPSEAT AND HAD TO SIT IN SOME OTHER SEAT. I FEEL THIS SIT AROSE FROM THE FLC LETTING THEMSELVES BE PUT IN A POS WHERE WE WERE BEING RUSHED INTO A TKOF. WITH 20/20 HINDSIGHT; IT MAY HAVE BEEN MORE PRUDENT TO REFUSE THE TKOF CLRNC AND JUST LET THE ACFT ON FINAL APCH DO A GAR. ANOTHER FACTOR IN THIS SIT IS THAT THE LEAD FLT ATTENDANT COULD HAVE WAITED UNTIL ALL FLT ATTENDANTS WERE SEATED BEFORE CALLING THE COCKPIT. ALSO; IN RE-THINKING WHAT HAPPENED; I COULD HAVE PICKED UP THE EMER PA MIKE AND INFORMED THE FLT ATTENDANTS OF THE IMMEDIATE TKOF CLRNC. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 254599: FOUND OUT LATER THAT THE FLT ATTENDANTS POLICY (COMPANY POLICY) IS TO DO A FINAL CABIN WALK- THROUGH PRIOR TO DEP! THEY WERE UNABLE TO DO THIS AS WE WERE ROLLING WITH THE 'READY CALL' RECEIVED FROM THE LEAD. AS A RESULT; DOORS 5L;R WERE UNMANNED FOR TKOF.
