2 ACFT COLLIDED WHILE TAXIING IN A NIGHT OP.

Narrative

I WAS INSTRUCTED TO ROLL TO THE END AND TURN L AND TAXI TO THE RAMP AND REMAIN ON THE TWR FREQ. AS I LEFT THE RWY AND TAXIED TOWARD THE RAMP I NOTICED AN AIRPLANE AHEAD MOVING ABOUT ON THE RAMP AREA. THINKING HE WAS GOING TO HEAD THE ACFT IN MY DIRECTION; I EASED MY ACFT TO THE R. I SLOWED THE ACFT DOWN TO BEGIN LOOKING FOR THE LINEMAN TO TAXI ME IN TO A PARKING SPOT. I NOTICED A LINEMAN APPEARING TO LEAD ME OVER TOWARD THE R. I TAXIED A LITTLE FURTHER AND THE ACFT BEGAN TO SHAKE AND THERE WAS A VIOLENTLY LOUD NOISE. I TURNED TO MY L REAR (APPROX 7 O'CLOCK POS) AND SAW A BEECH 18. GND CTL HAD INSTRUCTED THE BEECH 18 TO GIVE WAY TO ME. THE OTHER PLT LOST SIGHT OF ME APPARENTLY AND ASSUMED HE KNEW WHERE I WAS. THE WAY TO AVOID THESE TYPES OF UNNEEDED ACCIDENTS IS TO EXERCISE MORE DILIGENCE AND KEEP TAXI SPD SLOW. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE SOMEONE IS; STOP AND ASK. DON'T CONTINUE TO TAXI IF YOU ARE UNSURE. IT MAY HAVE HELPED TO AVOID THIS ACCIDENT HAD THE OTHER ACFT HAD HIS TAXI/LNDG LIGHTS ON. I NEVER SAW THE ACFT COMING TOWARDS ME. I THINK HIS TAXI SPD MUST HAVE BEEN TOO FAST.
