ATX FERRY FLT PERFORMS WRONG RWY LNDG.
Narrative
I WAS THE CAPT ON AN IFR FLT FROM JFK TO ILG. THE WX WAS GOOD VFR WITH CONTINUOUS MILD TURB AND 15 KT WINDSHEAR. I'M A NEW JET CAPT AND MY COPLT WAS A VERY INEXPERIENCED JET COPLT. THE COPLT WAS FLYING AND I WAS WORKING THE RADIOS AND CHKLISTS. AS WE APCHED ILG WE WERE EXPERIENCING MODERATE TURB AND I WAS WATCHING THE COPLT'S ACTIONS VERY CLOSELY. THE WIND WAS RPTED AS 320 DEGS AT 25 GUSTING 32. WE WERE CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 32. THE COPLT AND I COMPLETED THE LNDG CHKLIST AND THE AIRPLANE WAS FULLY CONFIGURED FOR LNDG. ON FINAL APCH THE COPLT WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH AIRSPD CTL GETTING AS SLOW AS '0' WIND REF MINUS 5. I FELT 'MAXED OUT' JUST MONITORING HIS FLYING AND ON LNDG ROLL I REALIZED WE HAD LANDED ON RWY 1. THERE WAS NO OTHER ACFT IN THE AIRSPACE AND THERE WAS NO CONFLICT. I BELIEVE THAT HIGH MINS CAPTS LIKE MYSELF SHOULD FLY ALL OF THE LEGS FOR THE FIRST 100 HRS. OR AT THE VERY LEAST; FLY ALL THE LEGS WITH ANY KIND OF ADVERSE WX. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM ACN 266671: I WAS THE PF IN A HFB 320 REPOSITIONING FROM JFK TO ILG. I WAS CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 32 AT ILG. THE TURB WAS MODERATE TO HVY MODERATE FROM 10000 FT TO THE GND. I LINED UP ON RWY 1. MY EYES WERE GOING FROM THE RWY TO MY AIRSPD AND I FAILED TO DOUBLECHK MY HDG TO VERIFY THE RWY. THERE WERE 15-20 KT AIRSPD VARIATIONS ALL THE WAY DOWN. AS I ROLLED OUT ON RWY 1; I NOTICED XING RWY 9 AND 27 DISCOVERING THAT I HAD LANDED ON THE WRONG RWY. THE TWR CLRED ME TO LAND ON RWY 1 AFTER I HAD ALREADY LANDED. I APPRECIATE THE EFFORT ON THE CTLR'S PART; BUT I THOUGHT I SHOULD FILL ONE OF THESE OUT ANYWAY.
