AN SMA LANDED GEAR UP.
Narrative
ON APCH TO OLU; NOTED THAT GEAR-DOWN GREEN INDICATOR LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE. ASKED FBO PERSONNEL TO CHK FOR GEAR DOWN DURING LOW APCH OVER OLU RWY. THEY CONFIRMED GEAR NOT DOWN. RETURNED TO POINT OF ORIGIN; MLE. CONVERSED AT LENGTH WITH MECH (A AND P) AND PERFORMED NUMEROUS MANEUVERS IN ATTEMPT TO FREE LNDG GEAR. AT OLU; ATTEMPTED TO MANUALLY EXTEND GEAR ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS IN POH; BUT COULD NOT DO SO--COULD NOT MOVE THE MANUAL EXTEND LEVER INTO DOWN POS. CONTINUED TO ATTEMPT TO MANUALLY EXTEND GEAR; WITH ASSISTANCE OF FBO PERSONNEL. WHEN OBVIOUS THAT SUCH MANEUVERS WOULD NOT WORK; FBO PERSONNEL MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH LCL EMER FACILITY; INCLUDING OMAHA FIRE DEPT AND EMER PERSONNEL; AND SUCCESSFUL GEAR-UP LNDG WAS ACCOMPLISHED. NO INJURIES RESULTED. NOSE GEAR WAS FOUND TO HAVE JAMMED INTO WHEEL WELL; WAS PRIED OUT TO DROP GEAR AND PLANE THEN TOWED OFF RWY. DURING PREFLT WALK-AROUND; NO ABNORMALITY OF GEAR OR STRUTS WAS DETECTED; STRUTS WERE EXTENDED AS PER POH. NO TURN FROM NEUTRAL WAS MADE ON RUDDER/NOSE GEAR DURING GEAR-UP EXCURSION DURING TAKE-OFF; AND NOSE GEAR WAS ALIGNED IN 'STRAIGHT-AHEAD' POS IN WHEEL WELL.
