UNAUTH TKOF PROC DOWNWIND TKOF REDUCED THRUST TKOF RUN.

Narrative

DURING PREPARATION FOR START I INFORMED THE FLT ATTENDANTS THERE WOULD BE A SHORT TAXI FOR TKOF. WE WERE GIVEN A TAXI CLRNC TO RWY 33. ATIS RPTED CALM WINDS; HOWEVER; ATC GAVE WIND AS 190 DEGS AT 6 KTS DURING TAXI; GIVING A 4 KT TAILWIND. ABOUT 1/2 WAY THROUGH THE TKOF ROLL THE FO ADVANCED THE PWR ABOUT 3 EPR DUE TO SLOW ACCELERATION. WE LIFTED OFF ABOUT 800 FT FROM THE END OF THE RWY USING A NORMAL TKOF PROFILE FOR FLAPS 5. AFTER TKOF THE FO LOOKED UP THE PERFORMANCE FOR RWY 33 AND DISCOVERED WE WERE 1400 LBS OVERWT FOR THAT RWY. FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO THE OVERWT TKOF WERE RUSHING TO GET ALL CHKLIST ITEMS DONE FOR THE SHORT TAXI; AND NOT TAKING THE TIME TO PAGE THROUGH ALL OF THE ACARS WT AND BAL DATA. NEITHER MYSELF OR THE FO CAUGHT THAT THE ACARS TKOF DATA WE WERE USING WAS FOR RWY 6; NOT RWY 33. THE PROB COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED BY LOOKING UP THE PERFORMANCE DATA BEFORE TAXI WITH AN ESTIMATED TKOF WT. ALL 3 PAGES OF THE ACARS WT AND BAL DATA SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAGED THROUGH AS A XCHK.
