LGT DEPARTS WITHOUT PDC.
Narrative
DURING THE BEFORE STARTING ENG CHKLIST AT XPONDER; I ASKED THE FO IF WE HAD AN ATC CLRNC. HE RESPONDED THAT WE DID AND THE NUMBERS IN THE XPONDER WERE CORRECT. I FAILED TO VERIFY THIS AND THE REMAINDER OF THE CLRNC; SINCE THE FO INFORMED ME WE WERE CLRED AS FILED. SHORTLY AFTER TKOF THE TWR INFORMED US WE WERE SQUAWKING THE WRONG CODE AND GAVE US ONE; DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE THAT WAS SET IN; AT THE GATE. WE WERE THEN INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT DEP. WE GOT NO RESPONSE ON THE DEP CTL FREQ THAT WAS SET IN THE VHF SET. AS I WAS FLYING; THE FO REVIEWED HIS MIAMI APCH PLATES AND TUNED IN THE PROPER FREQ. HE THEN REVIEWED THE ACARS GENERATED CLRNC. IT WAS FOR THE CORRECT FLT NUMBER AND DATE. UNFORTUNATELY; IT WAS FOR THE INBOUND FLT TO MIAMI AND NOT THE OUTBOUND LEG. THIS CLRNC WAS REQUESTED APPROX 20 MINS BEFORE DEP; AND LONG AFTER THE ARR OF THE INBOUND FLT. IN THE PAST; I'VE PROBABLY REVIEWED 99 PERCENT OF THE ACARS GENERATED CLRNCS. IN THE FUTURE IT WILL BE 100 PERCENT. I FAILED TO MENTION THAT THE FO REQUESTED ANOTHER CLRNC AND THE PROPER ONE WAS RECEIVED; AFTER HE DISCOVERED THE MISTAKE. I AM A LITTLE SURPRISED THAT NO ONE BUT THE CREW SEEMED TO KNOW THAT WE DEPARTED MIAMI WITHOUT A PROPER CLRNC.
