COMMUTER ACFT MAKES GAR AS FO DID NOT FEEL IN CTL OF THE ACFT. FATIGUE.

Narrative

WHILE LNDG IN ISO ARPT EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL LAST 50 FT OR LESS. I DID NOT FEEL IN CTL OF ACFT AND WENT AROUND. R MAIN GEAR TOUCHED DOWN ONLY. NEXT LNDG WAS FINE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED EXCEPT I HAD FLOWN ALMOST 32 HRS IN LAST 7 DAYS AND I HAD TO FLY FROM ISO TO CLT WITH A LOT OF TSTMS IN THE AREA. WHEN I GOT BACK TO CLT I WAS SUPPOSED TO FLY CLT-CAE-CLT WHICH I COULD NOT (THANK GOD) BECAUSE OF 34 HRS IN 7 DAYS. THE PREVIOUS MONTH FLYING TOTAL WAS 102.1 HRS AND 12 DAYS OFF. IT IS ALSO NOT UNCOMMON FOR EITHER MYSELF OR THE CAPT TO ALMOST FALL ASLEEP ON THE LAST DAY OF A 4 DAY TRIP (I'VE LOOKED OVER AND SEEN HIS EYES SHUT OR WHEN I SAY SOMETHING IT WOULD STARTLE HIM). FOR THE MONTH OF MAY I SPENT 322.9 HRS AWAY FROM BASE (TAFB) FOR JUNE IT WAS 331.4 TAFB ALSO IN JUNE I WAS ON DUTY FOR 181.8 HRS THAT EQUALS 12.12 DUTY HRS A DAY. THE FAR 135 DUTY AND REST REGS ARE A JOKE! PLTS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED MORE THAN 12 HRS ON DUTY. 16 HRS IS UNSAFE. YOU CANNOT GET 8 HRS OF SLEEP; IE; 24 - 8 = 16. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE TIME TO AND FROM WORK; TIME TO SHOWER; SHAVE; GET SOMETHING TO EAT; CHK IN AND OUT OF HOTEL. ALSO; 24 HRS OFF IN 7 DAYS DOES NOT HELP. IT SHOULD BE 1 CALENDAR DAY OFF IN 7 DAYS. WHEN YOU RPT FOR WORK (1 EXAMPLE) AT 0900 AM FIRST DAY; 1140 AM SECOND DAY; 0940 AM THIRD DAY; AND 0600 AM FOURTH DAY; YOUR BODY CLOCK DOES NOT ADJUST AND YOUR BODY IS READY FOR A NAP. HOW MANY ACCIDENTS THAT ARE BLAMED ON PLT ERROR WERE REALLY CAUSED BY PLT FATIGUE BY UNSAFE BUT LEGAL SCHEDULES. THE REGS DO NOT EVEN ADDRESS SLEEP; ONLY REST; BUT DRIVING TO AND FROM WORK IS COUNTED AS REST ALONG WITH EATING AND TAKING A SHOWER -- WHAT A JOKE!
