MLG ON PWR BACK GOES OVER EDGE OF RAMP.
Narrative
ENGS WERE STARTED IN NORMAL MANNER. CLRNC TO PWR BACK WAS RECEIVED. NORMAL GUIDEMAN PROCS WERE USED; NO TURNS DURING PWR BACK WERE BRIEFED. PWR BACK PROCEEDED NORMALLY. WE WERE WAVED FORWARD TO TERMINATE THE PWR BACK; AT WHICH I BELIEVED TO BE LATE INTO THE PWR BACK. THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY THE ACFT LEAVING THE CEMENT RAMP AND ROLLING ABOUT 2 FT ONTO THE ASPHALT APRON. THE APRON IS APPROX 2 INCHES LOWER THAN THE CEMENT RAMP; I FELT THE ACFT DROP OFF THIS LIP AND ACCELERATE AFT. AT THIS TIME I ADDED MORE FORWARD PWR. THIS DID NOT ADEQUATELY STOP THE ACFT. I THEN TAPPED THE BRAKES LIGHTLY. THE NOSE STRUT WENT TO THE FULL EXTENSION STOP. NOSE GEAR DID NOT LEAVE GND. AT THIS POINT ACFT WAS STOPPED AND I CALLED THE #1 FLT ATTENDANT TO ENSURE THE CABIN WAS IN ORDER AND CHK ON THE CABIN CREW. ALL WAS FOUND WELL EXCEPT FLT ATTENDANT #2 RECEIVED A BRUISE ON HER POSTERIOR DUE TO THE SUDDEN STOP. MAINT WAS CALLED TO INSPECT NOSE AND MAIN LNDG GEAR FOR DAMAGE; NO DAMAGE FOUND. ACFT WAS THEN MARSHALLED ONTO THE RAMP. REMAINDER OF FLT PROCEEDED NORMALLY.
