Narrative
THE FLT WAS GIVEN A CLRNC BY THE GND CTLR AT GJT; CO. IT WAS TAKEN BY THE FO WHO MISSED THE READBACK ON 3 ATTEMPTS. THE RESULT WAS A MIXUP IN COMS. HE APPARENTLY MESSED UP THE READBACK ENOUGH TIMES THAT HE CONFUSED THE CTLR; ME AND HIMSELF. THE CLRNC WAS: GJT 1 DEP; BACCA TRANSITION; CROSS GLARE INTXN AT 11000 FT; EXPECT FL230; CONTACT DEP REACHING GLARE -J130 TO DENVER. THE FO HAD SUCH A TIME GETTING THE CLRNC THAT IT FOCUSED ALL OF THE ATTN ON THE ROUTING AND WHILE WE READ BACK 'AFTER GLARE; CLB TO FL230 AND CONTACT CTR ON 125.35;' IT WAS NOT CORRECTED. WE CROSSED GLARE INTXN AT 11000 FT; CHKED ON WITH CTR AND TOLD HIM WE WERE CLBING TO FL230. HE ROGERED THIS WITHOUT COMMENT AND WE DID NOT HEAR OF ANY TFC CONFLICTS ON THE FREQ. SUBSEQUENTLY; WE HEARD FROM THE TWR SUPVR THAT WE HAD NOT FOLLOWED THE CLRNC AND MAY HAVE CAUSED A CONFLICT; BUT THIS WAS NOT VERIFIED AS FAR AS I KNOW. CONTRIBUTING TO THE MIXUP WAS THE INEXPERIENCE OF THE FO AND FATIGUE FOR THE BOTH OF US. WE FLEW 7.9 HRS THAT DAY; 7 LEGS; THAT HAD NUMEROUS DELAYS AND PROBS. THE PROB OCCURRED ON THE LAST LEG.
