ALTDEV ALT OVERSHOT.
Narrative
WE DEPARTED PITTSBURGH RWY 28L ENRTE TO MORGANTOWN; CLRNC PITT (1) AT 4000 FT. I WAS THE PNF THIS LEG. AFTER TKOF TWR ASSIGNED A 230 DEG HDG AND SWITCHED US TO DEP. ON OUR INITIAL CALL DEP GAVE US A 210 DEG HDG AND CLB TO 5000 FT. WE COMPLETED THE CLB CHKS AND PROCEEDED AS NORMAL. ON CLB OUT THE COPLT FELT COMPELLED TO TELL ME THE REASON OUR DELAY OUT OF PITTSBURGH. I ON THE OTHER HAND CONTRIBUTED TO THE NON-STERILE COCKPIT; BY TELLING HIM ABOUT THE SCHEDULE CHANGE I HAD JUST RECEIVED. AFTER 4 WKS OF 6 DAYS ON AND 1 DAY OFF COMPANY TOLD ME I WAS GOING STRAIGHT INTO FLT TRAINING FOR 6 MORE WITHOUT A DAY OFF. I FEEL FATIGUE ON THE PART OF BOTH MYSELF AND THE COPLT WAS A MAJOR CONTRIBUTING FACTOR IN THIS SIT. WE ALSO HAD WX PROBS PRIOR TO THE FLT THAT WE TOOK CARE OF. DELAY OFF THE GATE THAT WOULD CAUSE US TO RUN LATE THE REST OF THE NIGHT. AND NEEDLESS HARASSMENT BY THE COMPANY IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SHIFT OVER SCHEDULING; WHEN I ALREADY FELT I NEEDED A DAY OFF. OVERALL OUR FLOW WAS BROKEN AND WE DIDN'T MAINTAIN PROPER VIGILANCE. I NOTICED THE ALT BUST AT 5400 FT AND PUSHED THE NOSE OVER TO RETURN TO 5000 FT. THE GREATEST DEV WAS 600 FT AND THERE WAS NO OTHER TFC IN THE AREA. ATC DIDN'T QUESTION THE DEV OR OUR ALT AT THAT TIME!
