AFTER NOT HAVING FLOWN MY CESSNA SKYHAWK SINCE FEB/XX/95 I WAS A LITTLE RUSTY SO I WENT TO GAINESVILLE REGIONAL ARPT TO BRUSH UP ON MY PATTERN WORK. AFTER USING MY CHKLIST TO DO A PREFLT AND LISTENING TO ATIS (127.15) I CALLED GND CTL ON (121.7). MY ACFT WAS CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 06. I TAXIED TO THE RUNUP PAD AND USED MY CHKLIST TO PERFORM A RUN UP. UPON COMPLETION I CALLED TWR (119.55). 'TWR CESSNA -- OFF RWY 06 READY FOR TKOF.' WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR AND HAD HEARD MANY TIMES BEFORE GOES LIKE THIS 'CESSNA -- GAINESVILLE TWR. TAXI TO RWY 06. CLRED FOR TKOF. R TURNS.' I PROCEEDED TO TKOF ON RWY 06. AT THE DEP END AT ABOUT 500 FT AGL. TWR CALLED MY CALL SIGN AND SAID. '...CROSS RWY 06 TO RWY 10.' I THINK THEY WERE UNAWARE I HAD DEPARTED AND I ASSUME THEY WERE TALKING TO THE ACFT BEHIND ME; STILL ON THE GND. THAT IS WHEN I REALIZED I HAD MISSED MY CLRNC. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED TWR TO INFORM THEM I HAD DEPARTED FROM THE WRONG RWY. THE REST OF THE FLT PROCEEDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. I CLRLY HAVE DEVELOPED THE BAD HABIT OF EXPECTING TO HEAR CERTAIN THINGS IN MY DEP CLRNCS AT THIS ARPT. SMALL ACFT ALMOST ALWAYS USE RWY 06 AND RWY 24. I HAD MY 4 YR OLD DAUGHTER AS A PAX WHICH CONTRIBUTED TO MY INATTN AT THE CRITICAL MOMENT. I SHOULD HAVE CALLED TWR FOR A REPEAT BUT ASSUMED I HEARD WHAT I THOUGHT I HEARD. THAT WAS A JUDGEMENT ERROR. I NEED TO LISTEN UP AND REPEAT CLRNCS.
