WITH MORE THAN 1000 HRS IN RETRACTABLES (1040 HRS IN TB20) AND AS MANY LNDGS; I SIMPLY GOOFED ON THIS ONE; HAD A BEAUTIFUL 5 1/2 HR FLT FROM SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA TO TUCSON WITH 1 REFUEL STOP AT TWENTYNINE PALMS; CA. CLR DAY; UNLIMITED TO 50 MI VISIBILITY. RECEIVED ADVISORIES FROM AURA VALLEY STATING RWY 30 ACTIVE. ON MY HIGH DOWNWIND; HVY CONVERTED MIL MULTI ENG ACFT PULLED INTO TKOF POS ON RWY 30; I WAS DECREASING ALT ABOVE AIRSPD FOR LOWERING LNDG GEAR AND EXTENDED DOWNWIND TO ALLOW ACFT TO DEPART. TURNED BASE AND CONCENTRATED ON LNDG WITHOUT DOING 'GUMPS' OR CHK FOR 3 GREEN. NEXT SOUND WAS BOTTOM OF CABIN ON CEMENT; I'M ASHAMED! CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE ACFT RECEIVED DAMAGE TO THE FLAPS; PROP; ENG; ENTRANCE STEPS AND ENG MOUNTING/ENG. HE BELIEVES THAT SINCE HE FEELS SO BAD ABOUT THIS MISTAKE; HE WILL NOT LET IT EVER HAPPEN AGAIN! HE STATED THAT HE ENJOYS OUR PUB; 'CALLBACK;' AND THE RPTING SYS AVAILABLE TO THE PLTS.
