B737 TAXIING HITS C401.

Narrative

NO INJURIES. NO DAMAGE TO B737. THE C401 HAD TAIL AND R WING TANK DAMAGE. REGIONAL APCH CTL CLRED US FOR A VISUAL TO RWY 13R AND ADDED THAT THE RWY WOULD BE CLOSED AS SOON AS WE LANDED. APCH THEN CLRED US TO TWR AND ASKED US TO KEEP OUR SPD UP FOR FOLLOWING TFC. WE CHKED IN WITH LOVE TWR 7 MI FROM THE FIELD. LOVE TWR ASKED US TO SWITCH TO RWY 13L AND CLRED US TO LAND ON RWY 13L. THE APCH; LNDG; AND ROLLOUT WERE NORMAL. WE TURNED OFF RWY 13L AT TXWY B1; A REVERSE HIGHSPD TXWY. WE FOLLOWED NORMAL PROCS. LOVE TWR INSTRUCTED US TO CONTACT GND. LOVE GND INSTRUCTED US TO TAXI TO THE GATE. WE READ BACK THE INSTRUCTION AND THEN TURNED R ON TXWY M AND PROCEEDED NW. PRIOR TO THE B3 INTXN; A SLIGHT L TURN FOLLOWED BY A SLIGHT R TURN HAD TO BE ACCOMPLISHED TO CONTINUE NW FOR THE TRIP AROUND THE TERMINAL TO THE AIRLINE GATES. JUST AFTER I MADE THE L TURN; I FELT A 'PUSH' ON THE AIRPLANE. I THOUGHT I HAD TAXIED THROUGH JETWASH; BUT I HAD SEEN NO TAXIING ACFT. SECONDS LATER I HEARD A RADIO XMISSION TO THE EFFECT THAT 'THE 737 HIT US.' CONSIDERING THE RWY CHANGE AND KNOWING THAT OUR FLT WAS THE FIRST TO LAND ON RWY 13L; I FELT THIS COM REFERRED TO US. I STOPPED WITHIN 40-50 FT AS I HAD BEEN TAXIING SLOWLY. AS I STOPPED; I SAW 2 GND SUPPORT MEN RUNNING OUT TO OUR ACFT. THEY HELD UP AN INTO-PLANE HEADSET. I DIRECTED THEM TO PLUG IN TO OUR GND COMS SYS. ON INITIAL CONTACT; I ASKED THEM WHAT HAPPENED AND TO CHK THE ACFT FOR DAMAGE AND LEAKING FLUIDS SO THAT I COULD MAKE A DETERMINATION WHETHER OR NOT IT WAS SAFE TO CONTINUE TO TAXI. THEY RPTED NO LEAKING FLUIDS AND NO PROBS WHATSOEVER. MY CHK OF THE ENG INSTS INDICATED THAT ALL SYS WERE NORMAL. I THANKED THEM AND CLRED THEM OFF. I THEN CALLED OUR DISPATCHER AND FILED A BRIEF RPT AND TOLD THEM THAT WE WERE OK TO TAXI TO THE GATE. BY NOW; THE EMER EQUIP WAS ON THE SCENE. WE ASKED LOVE GND FOR A NEW TAXI CLRNC. WE ALSO ASKED THEM TO INFORM THE FIRE CHIEF THAT WE WERE OK; BUT WOULD WELCOME THEM FOLLOWING US TO THE GATE. PARKING AND SHUTDOWN WERE NORMAL. THERE WERE NO PAX OR CREW INJURIES.
