THE RPTR IS ACCUSED BY REESE TWR OF INTRUDING INTO THEIR AIRSPACE. THE RPTR ALSO LOST VHF XMITTER CAPABILITY.

ON SEP/XA/95 ON A PHOTO MISSION FROM LUBBOCK; TX; TO A PIECE OF PROPERTY N OF THE CITY OF ABERNATHY; TX; TO THE ELM GROVE GOLF COURSE ON THE W EDGE OF LUBBOCK BTWN THE CITY AND REESE AFB AND THENCE TO A PIECE OF PROPERTY ON THE S SIDE OF LUBBOCK. I ADVISED GND CTL MY INTENTIONS AND THEY ACKNOWLEDGED AND THEY ASSIGNED ME A XPONDER CODE AND ADVISED ME TO CONTACT DEP CTL ON 119.2 AFTER TKOF. WE DID THE PHOTO WORK AT ABERNATHY AND THEN PROCEEDED TO ELM GROVE GOLF COURSE. AT THIS TIME DEP CTL ADVISED TO CONTACT REESE TWR ON 125.45 WHICH I DID AND REESE ACKNOWLEDGED. SHORTLY THEREAFTER I COULD NOT XMIT; HOWEVER; I WAS HEARING THEM. I DIDN'T KNOW IF I HAD LOST MY XMITTER OR IF I HAD A BAD MIKE. I FINISHED THE PHOTO WORK AT ELM GROVE AND THEN PROCEEDED TO THE S OF LUBBOCK. I FINISHED THAT SHOT AND THEN PROCEEDED BACK TO THE ARPT. I ENTERED A DOWNWIND FOR RWY 17L; TURNED BASE; FINAL; AND WAS GIVEN A GREEN LIGHT TO LAND. THE OTHER ACFT WERE ALL USING RWY 17R. I CONTACTED THE TWR WITH A GND RADIO IN THE FBO AND ADVISED I WOULD LIKE TO GO BACK TO MY HOME BASE IN PLAINVIEW; TX; WHICH IS 25 MI N OF LUBBOCK. THE TWR ADVISED TO TAXI BACK OUT TO RWY 17L AND THEY WOULD GIVE ME A GREEN LIGHT FOR TKOF AND THAT I SHOULD MAKE A L TURN OUT AND DIRECT PLAINVIEW. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROB IS; HOWEVER; I WAS ADVISED YESTERDAY; SEP/XG/95; TO CONTACT THE FAA OFFICE IN LUBBOCK. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR SAID HE WAS FLYING A CESSNA 172. HE FLIES CESSNA CITATIONS; KING AIRS; AND BARONS. THE REESE TWR HAD CALLED LUBBOCK TWR AND LUBBOCK TWR CALLED FSDO SAYING THAT REESE TWR ACCUSED THE RPTR OF INTRUDING ON THEIR MIL AIRSPACE. THE FAA ASKED THE RPTR TO COME DOWN AND TELL THEM ABOUT IT; WHICH HE DID; ASSURING THE FAA HE KNEW WHERE HE WAS AND AT NO TIME INTRUDED ON REESE AIRSPACE. HE REMAINED OVER THE GOLF COURSE WHILE W OF THE HWY AND WAS E OF THE HWY AT OTHER TIMES. THE FAA HAD NO PROB WITH THAT OR HIS LOSS OF RADIO XMITTER PROCS. THE FAA SAID THE ISSUE IS CLOSED. HAVE A NICE DAY. THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A MAP SHIFT ON THE REESE AFB MIL RADAR.
