NMAC. ONE ACFT ON LNDG ROLLOUT; OTHER GAR. NON TWR ARPT.

Narrative

I LANDED MY ACFT AND ANOTHER PLT TOOK EVASIVE ACTION. HE USED NO RADIO; FLEW NO PATTERN AND I WAS DEAD RIGHT. PLEASE PRINT THIS TO EMPHASIZE THE SEE AND BE SEEN ISSUE. I NEVER SAW HIM. PROBABLY IF I LOOKED AGAIN FOR A STRAIGHT IN APCH; I MAY HAVE SEEN HIM. DURING MY APCH I SAW A 172 FLYING N OVER THE INTERCOASTAL WATERWAY. HE WAS NOT IN THE PATTERN AND WAS TOO FAR N TO ENTER A STANDARD PATTERN. THE TETRAHEDRON WAS FACING THE W. ADDITIONALLY; I MONITORED AND USED THE UNICOM. THE UNICOM FREQ WAS NOT MANNED AT THE TIME THAT I LANDED AND AFTER THE INCIDENT MR X TOLD ME THAT HIS RADIOS WERE NOT WORKING. THAT IS WHY HE CAME BACK TO THE ARPT. I NEVER HEARD HIM ON THE RADIO. MY FIRST STANDARD VFR APCH TO LANTANA WAS A BALKED LNDG AS I DID NOT LIKE THE APCH SPD AND DECIDED TO GAR. MR X STATED TO ME THAT HE HAD SEEN ME 'TKOF.' DURING ALL OF THIS I ANNOUNCED MY POS AND INTENTIONS OVER THE UNICOM; FLEW A STANDARD PATTERN AND SCANNED THE PATTERN FOR OTHER ACFT AND I NEVER SAW OR HEARD ANY ACFT IN THE PATTERN TO LANTANA. SINCE MY ACFT APCH SPD IS IN EXCESS OF 100 MPH; I REQUIRE MORE RWY THAN A CESSNA 150 OR 172. THE VISIBILITY OF MY CASSUTT IIIM IS SIMILAR TO A PITTS ON THE ROLLOUT; BUT VISIBILITY IN THE FLYING MODE IS EXCELLENT. I WAS AT THE END OF MY ROLLOUT WHEN THE 172 WENT PAST ME; AND MY SUSPICIONS ARE HE NEVER FLEW A STANDARD VFR PATTERN AND HE LANDED AFTER I WAS ON THE RWY.
