A PVT PLT LINES UP WITH THE WRONG RWY DURING LNDG AND BECOMES CONFUSED BY CTLR'S REMARKS.
Narrative
POSITIONED IMPROPERLY FOR A R TURN; FOR RWY 32. I WAS CLRED FOR A R TURN FOR RWY 32. I THOUGHT I WAS SETTING UP FOR RWY 32; ACTUALLY I WAS LOOKING AT RWY 14. THE TWR INSTEAD OF ASSISTING ME IN A HELPFUL WAY; MADE REMARKS SUCH AS; 'ARE YOU A STUDENT PLT?' IN A SARCASTIC WAY. I KNEW I WAS DISORIENTED AS TO WHICH RWY WAS RWY 32. I REQUESTED A REJECTED LNDG. SAGINAW TWR REPLIED; 'WHAT IS A REJECTED LNDG?' I SAID; 'I DIDN'T WANT TO LAND; BUT SET UP FOR LNDG AGAIN.' HE REPLIED; 'YOU AREN'T LINED UP FOR RWY 32 ANYWAY.' HE REPLIED TO FLY A CERTAIN HDG; WHICH I DID. HE STATED; 'IT'S A GOOD THING I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER ACFT RIGHT NOW.' I LANDED ON RWY 32; THEN HE WANTED ME TO TURN ON TXWY B. I INADVERTENTLY TURNED L ON RWY 23. HE REMARKED I WAS ON THE RWY. I ASKED HIM TO ASSIST ME TO HANGAR 6. IN THE PAST; AIR TFC CTLRS HAVE BEEN HELPFUL; EVEN WITHOUT BEING ASKED. UNNECESSARY AND DEMEANING REMARKS BY THE TWR CTLR ONLY ADDED TO MY CONFUSION. IT MADE FLYING THE ACFT AND CONCENTRATING ON LNDG MORE DIFFICULT. I WAS UNDER ATC CTL 20 NM OUT; INBOUND AND HE COULD HAVE TURNED ME WHEN HE SAW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. INSTEAD IT GOT VERY CONFUSING AND MADE ME FEEL VERY STUPID. EVERYTHING CAME OUT OK; I DIDN'T ALLOW MYSELF TO BECOME RATTLED. IT SEEMS TO ME HE COULD HAVE BEEN MORE PROFESSIONAL; HELPFUL; AND WE BOTH WOULD HAVE FELT BETTER ABOUT THE RESULTS.
