FIRST OF ALL; LET US TAKE THE TIME TO SAY THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LISTEN TO OUR COMPLAINTS REGARDING THE ATLANTIC CITY INTL ARPT. UNFORTUNATELY; YOU SEEM TO BE THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARES. DESPITE OUR EFFORTS AND YOUR ASSISTANCE IN THIS MATTER; WE HAVE STILL BEEN IGNORED BY ARPT MGMNT AND HIGH LEVEL GOV OFFICIALS. BECAUSE OF THIS; WE ARE WRITING TO YOU ONE MORE TIME TO ASK FOR YOUR HELP IN LIFTING 2 MAJOR RESTRS PLACED ON THE ARPT BY THE FAA'S ARPT MGR THAT WE KNOW ARE ONLY THERE TO DETER AIRPLANES FROM UTILIZING THE ARPT. THE FIRST; IS A RESTR PLACED ON LARGE ACFT SUCH AS THE C5; B747; B707 AND C141; TO BE RESTR TO LOW APCH CLRNCS AT OR ABOVE 500 FT ABOVE GND LEVEL ONLY TO RWY 31 UNLESS THEY MAKE A FULL STOP LNDG. AS MOST OF THOSE ACFT COME TO ATLANTIC CITY TO DO PLT TRAINING; THESE PLTS DO NOT WANT TO BE RESTR EVERY TIME. THE ARPT MGR HAS STATED THIS RESTR IS THERE FOR NOISE ABATEMENT AND RWY DETERIORATION. FIRST; WE MUST STATE; THAT THE AIRPLANES ARE ALLOWED TO DSND TO 500 FT ABOVE GND LEVEL; SO THEY MAKE THE SAME AMOUNT OF NOISE WHETHER THE RESTR IS THERE OR NOT. SECONDLY; AS FOR THE DETERIORATION OF THE RWY; THERE HAVE RECENTLY BEEN NUMEROUS REPAIRS DONE TO THE RWY; WHICH HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. CONTRARY; ALL ACFT ARE NOT RESTR; IN ANY WAY; IF THEY USE RWY 13. IT'S THE SAME RWY EXCEPT THE OTHER END! THE SECOND RESTR WE ARE ASKING TO BE LIFTED; IS THE BAN ON ALL 4 ENG ACFT FROM ANY PRACTICE APCHS FROM 4 PM FRI NIGHTS UNTIL 8 AM ON MON MORNINGS. THIS IS JUST ANOTHER ATTEMPT BY THE ARPT MGR TO DETER AIRPLANES AWAY. AS YOU CAN PLAINLY SEE; WHY WOULD ANY PLT WANT TO USE AN ARPT IN WHICH HE OR SHE WAS SO RESTR. NOT TO MENTION THE INCREASED WORKLOAD WE ENTAIL TRYING TO ACCOMMODATE THE PLTS THE BEST WE CAN. THERE'S NOTHING WORSE FOR A CTLR; THAN TO TELL A PLT YOU CAN'T COME HERE BECAUSE THE ARPT MGR DOES NOT WANT YOU. IN CLOSING; PLEASE HELP US IN GETTING THESE RESTRS LIFTED. WE'RE TIRED OF DEALING WITH AN ARPT MGR WHO SEEMS TO CARE LITTLE ABOUT THE ARPT OR THE PLTS WHO USE IT.
