CORPORATE ACFT MAKES HDG DEV DUE TO MISREADING INFO ON SID.

Narrative

WE ARRIVED AT DALLAS LOVE ARPT AND SHUT DOWN THE L OUTBOUND ENG DURING TAXI TO THE RAMP AS I REQUESTED OUR NEXT CLRNC (AN IFR FLT TO TOLUCA; MX) FROM CLRNC DELIVERY. (I WAS ALSO LISTENING TO GND CTL.) UPON ARR AT THE RAMP I LEFT THE ACFT; REMOVED SOME BAGGAGE AND WE DISCHARGED 1 PAX. WE THEN RESTARTED THE SECURED ENG; PERFORMED THE CHKLISTS AND REQUESTED TAXI TO THE RWY IN USE. WHILE I WAS OUT OF THE ACFT THE PF REVIEWED THE CLRNC THAT I HAD RECEIVED TO TOLUCA; MX (INCLUDING THE DEP SID). DURING TAXI TO THE RWY 13L; THE CAPT BRIEFED ME ON THE TKOF AND DEP PROC. NEITHER OF US HAD EVER FLOWN THIS DEP PROC PRIOR TO THIS TIME. THE SID IS LABELED 10- 3B JOE POOL 1 DEP (SEE ENCLOSED) FOR DALLAS LOVE. THERE IS A FOOTNOTE OF OTHER SATELLITE ARPTS SERVED BY THE SID. THE CAPT BRIEFED THE PROC FOR TURBOJET DEP FROM RWY 13L WHICH SAYS TO FLY A 174 DEG HDG AFTER DEP AND CLB TO 10000 FT. (WE HAD RECEIVED A CLRNC LIMIT OF 5000 FT FROM CLRNC DELIVERY.) THE CAPT NOR I NOTICED THE ADDITIONAL NOTATION THAT THIS PROC IS ONLY FOR DEPARTING RWY 13L AT DALLAS/FT WORTH INTL ARPT. AFTER TKOF AT APPROX 700 FT AGL; WE WERE TOLD TO CONTACT REGIONAL DEP. AS I DID THIS THE CAPT BEGAN A R TURN TO 174 DEG HDG. THE FREQ WAS BUSY BUT AFTER A FEW SECONDS DEP CTL CALLED US AND TOLD US TO TURN BACK TO RWY HDG; WHICH WE DID. (WE RECEIVED NO TCASII ADVISORY OR ALERT NOR SAW ANY OTHER TFC.) ENRTE WE AGAIN REVIEWED THE JOE POOL 1 DEP AND WITH MORE TIME TO EXAMINE IT DETERMINED THAT WE HAD BEEN CONFUSED BY THE INCLUSION OF (DFW) DEPARTING PROCS (INCLUDING SIMILAR RWY NUMBERS) ON A (DAL) DEP SID. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES HE HAS NEVER SEEN A SID SUCH AS THIS WITH INFO FOR ANOTHER ARPT PRESENTED. HE BELIEVES THE DALLAS/FT WORTH INFO SHOULD BE ELIMINATED AND ONLY INFO FOR DALLAS LOVE ARPT PLACED ON THIS SID. IT IS VERY CONFUSING AND A GUARANTEE FOR ERROR. BOTH ARPTS HAVE RWYS 13L. RPTR FLYING A FALCON 50.
