DURING LNDG ROLLOUT THE L BRAKE FAILED. TWR REQUESTED QUICK EXIT OFF RWY FOR LNDG TFC. IN THE RUSH WITH THE BRAKE PROB; ACFT EXITED RWY; BUT CROSSED ANOTHER RWY WITHOUT CLRNC.

Narrative

AFTER LNDG ON RWY 32 AT LNK; I HAD THE L BRAKE FAIL; DURING ROLLOUT; THE TWR CTLR REQUESTED A QUICK 180 DEG TURN BACK TO TXWY E; TFC ON SHORT FINAL FOR RWY 32. MY REPLY WAS I COULD NOT DO THAT AND CONTINUED TO ROLL ON RWY 32 LOOKING FOR A TXWY I COULD EXIT ON. AFTER TURNING OFF ON TXWY B I WAS HAVING DIFFICULTY STEERING AND STOPPING WITH ONLY THE R BRAKE AND WAS TRYING TO PUMP THE L BRAKE TO RESTORE SOME STOPPING PWR TO THAT BRAKE. DURING THIS TIME (IN THE DARK) I MISTAKENLY ROLLED ONTO RWY 17R WHERE TXWY B CROSSES THE STOPWAY; APCH END OF THAT RWY. AT THAT POINT; THE PUMPING OF THE L BRAKE RESTORED SOME STOPPING PWR TO THAT BRAKE AND BECAME MORE IN CTL OF THE ABILITY TO TAXI. CONTINUED ON TXWY B TO A POINT WHERE IT INTERSECTS WITH TXWY D WHERE I WAS TOLD TO HOLD THERE BY THE TWR CTLR. AFTER SOME ADDITIONAL TFC LANDED ON RWY 32 I WAS CLRED TO TAXI TO THE GA PARKING VIA TXWY E WHICH I DID WITHOUT ANY FURTHER PROBS. I FEEL AFTER THINKING THIS OVER THAT I SHOULD HAVE STOPPED STRAIGHT AHEAD ON RWY 32 AND HAVE THE CTLR SEND THE LNDG TFC AROUND. AT THE TIME OF THE LNDG I WAS TRYING TOO HARD TO COMPLY WITH THE CTLR REQUEST TO CLR THE RWY AND EXITED GOING TOO FAST FOR THE LIMITED BRAKES I HAD. ALSO; SHOULD HAVE RADIOED SOONER TO THE CTLR THAT I HAD A PROB AND WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STOP ON TXWY B WITHOUT CROSSING RWY 17R. I ALSO BECAME SO INVOLVED WITH TRYING TO PUMP THE L BRAKE BACK TO LIFE THAT I WAS UNAWARE THAT I CROSSED THE RWY UNTIL I STOPPED AT TXWY B AND TXWY D INTXN. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: DARKNESS AND ATC LNDG ACFT TOO CLOSE BEHIND!!
