THE FLC HAD ERRONEOUSLY RECEIVED DUPLICATES OF ILS APCH CHARTS THEY ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE ILS APCH CHARTS THEY WERE TOLD TO DISCARD. THEREFORE; THE CREW WAS MISSING ILS CHARTS THEY NEEDED FOR THE APCH THEY WERE ASSIGNED. THE CREW REQUESTED AND RECEIVED AN ILS FOR WHICH THEY HAD THE APPROPRIATE CHARTS.

THE FLC HAD ERRONEOUSLY RECEIVED DUPLICATES OF ILS APCH CHARTS THEY ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE ILS APCH CHARTS THEY WERE TOLD TO DISCARD. THEREFORE; THE CREW WAS MISSING ILS CHARTS THEY NEEDED FOR THE APCH THEY WERE ASSIGNED. THE CREW REQUESTED AND RECEIVED AN ILS FOR WHICH THEY HAD THE APPROPRIATE CHARTS.

Narrative

FLT WAS SCHEDULED SVC FROM COLUMBUS; OH; TO CINCINNATI; OH. INBOUND TO CVG; OBTAINED ATIS INFO AND LEARNED OF ACTIVE RWYS 18L AND 18R. TOLD TO EXPECT ILS RWY 18L. WHEN I MADE AN ATTEMPT TO LOCATE THE APCH PLATE FOR THIS APCH; I DISCOVERED THAT THE PLATES FOR ILS RWY 18L AND ILS RWY 18R (PAGES 21B-3; 21B-4) WERE MISSING. THE CAPT ALSO VERIFIED THAT HIS PLATES FOR THESE APCHS WERE ALSO MISSING. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION; WE BOTH VERIFIED THAT WE HAD BEEN ISSUED DUPLICATE PAGES 21B-5; 21B-6; THE EFFECTIVE DATE ON THESE PLATES WAS NOV/XX/95; WHICH MEANS THAT THE PUB ERROR HAD OCCURRED DURING OUR LATEST UPDATE. THIS UPDATE DIRECTED THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THE APCH PLATES IN QUESTION. WHEN I INSERTED THE UPDATED PLATES IN MY FLT MANUAL; I DID NOT NOTICE THE DUPLICATION OF PAGES 21B-5; 21B-6 AND IT DID NOT STRIKE ME AS ODD THAT APCHS TO RWYS 18 WERE DELETED IN THAT THERE WAS SOME ONGOING CONSTRUCTION AT THE ARPT AND THE PLATES WOULD MOST LIKELY BE REISSUED AT A LATER DATE. COINCIDENTALLY; THE CAPT AND MYSELF RECEIVE OUR UPDATES; IN COMPANY LOCKERS; AND OUR LOCKERS HAPPENED TO BE IN THE SAME ROW OF LOCKERS IN FLT OPS. I CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT THERE WERE OTHER PLTS WHICH WERE ERRONEOUSLY ISSUED INCORRECT PLATES AND WERE PROBABLY UNAWARE OF THE DISCREPANCY. IN REF TO THE FLT; WHEN WE DISCOVERED THE PROB WE REQUESTED AND RECEIVED APPROVAL TO FLY THE APCH TO RWY 9 AT CVG. AT NO TIME DURING THE FLT WAS SAFETY COMPROMISED; NOR WERE ANY FARS VIOLATED.
