FO CALLED FOR TAXI CLRNC FROM GND CTL 'TAXI A HOLD SHORT OF TXWY G.' INSTEAD OF MAKING A L TURN ON TXWY A I MADE A R TURN AND WAS NOW HOLDING SHORT OF TXWY F AND IN THE ILS CRITICAL AREA WHEN GND CTL QUERIED US AS TO WHY WE WERE AT TXWY F INSTEAD OF TXWY G. WE TOLD THEM WE HAD MADE A WRONG TURN AND WERE AWAITING FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS. WE THEN RECEIVED CLRNC TO TAXI QUICKLY ACROSS RWYS 25L AND 25R; TAXI FULL LENGTH TO RWY 25R. I HAVE BEEN FLYING INTO AND OUT OF LAX FOR THE PAST 5 YRS; I DON'T THINK I HAVE DEPARTED FROM ANY OTHER RWY BESIDES RWYS 25L AND 25R; OUR FACILITY IS CLOSE AND THUS OUR DESIRE TO USE THESE 2 RWYS. HAVING TAXIED TO THESE RWYS MANY TIMES IN THE PAST I FELT NO NEED TO CONSULT MY TAXI CHART AND TAXIED THE USUAL RTE; WHEN THE FO ASKED ME IF I KNEW WHERE TXWY G WAS; I REPLIED 'OF COURSE; BEEN DOING THIS RTE FOR YRS;' IT'S RIGHT AFTER TXWY F. WE THEN DISCOVERED THERE WAS NO TXWY BEYOND TXWY F AND NOW CONSULTED OUR TAXI CHARTS. WE WERE STUCK AT TXWY F. MORAL OF THE STORY -- COMPLACENCY HAS NO PLACE IN THE COCKPIT -- ONE CREW MEMBER SHOULD ALWAYS VERIFY RTE AGAINST TAXI CHART NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE BEEN INTO OR OUT OF AN ARPT. CTLR COULD HAVE STATED -- L ON TXWY A; HOLD SHORT OF TXWY G.
