DURING RAMP CHK THE ACI FOUND DISCREPANCIES ON THE FLT ATTENDANT 'CABIN DISCREPANCY' FORM THAT WERE NOT ON THE ACFT MAINT LOGBOOK AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN.
Narrative
DURING AN FAA RAMP CHK; THE INSPECTOR FOUND THE YELLOW COPY OF THE 'CABIN DISCREPANCIES' FORM. THE FORM WAS AT THE FLT ATTENDANT STATION. NONE OF THE 4 WRITE-UPS WERE IN THE ACFT MAINT LOGBOOK. THE WRITE-UPS WERE FOLLOWING: 1) 9C WINDOW PANEL FALLS OFF; 2) 2C NO SMOKING SIGN ABOVE SEAT OUT; 3) FLT ATTENDANT PANEL/EMER LIGHT INDICATOR IS OUT (ARMED); 4) LAVATORY: DOOR STICKS; HARD TO OPEN AND CLOSE. AT THE TIME THE INSPECTOR TOLD ME ABOUT THE CABIN DISCREPANCIES; I CALLED MAINT. MAINT FIXED #1; #3 AND #4 AND MEL #2. WHEN THE PREFLT INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED 3 LEGS PRIOR; THE ACFT MAINT LOG WAS CHKED AND NO WRITE-UPS WERE FOUND. THE CAUSE OF THIS PROB WAS THAT THERE WAS NO COM BTWN THE PREVIOUS FLT ATTENDANT AND PREVIOUS FLC TO PLACE THE CABIN DISCREPANCIES IN THE ACFT MAINT LOG SO MAINT COULD CORRECT THE PROBS. A WAY TO FIX THIS PROB IS TO HAVE THE COMPANY BETTER TRAIN THE FLT ATTENDANTS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF CABIN DISCREPANCIES AND THE EFFECT THEY MAY HAVE ON THE AIRWORTHINESS OF THE ACFT.
