AN ACR IS UNCERTAIN OF ITS PROPER HEADING WHILE INTERCEPTING A RADIAL OF THE OASYS SID FROM LAS.

Narrative

UPON CLBING OUT ON THE OASYS 2 BTY TRANSITION WE WERE GIVEN AN ALT OF 13000 FT MSL. ABOUT 15 MI SW OF THE 211 DEG RADIAL LAS WE TURNED TO 260 DEG HDG FOR ABOUT 3-5 MI. LAS APCH TOLD US TO TURN TO A HDG OF 280 DEGS TO INTERCEPT THE 126 DEG RADIAL OFF OF BTY. MY FO READ THE CLRNC BACK. WE WERE THEN GIVEN CLB AND MAINTAIN 17000 FT MSL (AND TURNED OVER TO ZLA). ZLA GAVE US A CLRNC TO CLB AND MAINTAIN FL310. THEY THEN CAME BACK AND ASKED US IF WE WERE TO INTERCEPT THE 126 DEG RADIAL OFF OF BTY OR 251 DEG RADIAL OFF OF LAS. WE TOLD HIM BTY 126 DEGS. HE THEN GAVE US AN OFF COURSE HDG TO 330 DEGS FOR INBOUND TFC OFF THE FUZZY 3. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 342123: LAS VEGAS DEP CLRED US TO A 280 DEG VECTOR AT 13000 FT WHEN WE WERE APPROX 15 DME ON THE 211 DEG RADIAL FROM LAS VEGAS; TO INTERCEPT THE 126 DEG RADIAL INBOUND TO BEATTY. AFTER DEP HAD US CONTACT ZLA; CTR ASKED IF WE HAD BEEN CLRED TO INTERCEPT THE 251 DEG RADIAL OR THE 126 DEG RADIAL. WE REPLIED THE 126 DEG RADIAL. CTR THEN VECTORED US TO A 330 DEG HDG DUE TO INBOUND TFC ON THE FUZZY 3 ARR.
