Narrative
TAMPA TWR ISSUED LAND AND HOLD SHORT CLRNC WHICH I ACKNOWLEDGED. WE WERE LNDG ON RWY 27 TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18L. DASH 8 IS RARELY LANDED WITH 35 DEG FLAPS SO I ASSUMED THE CAPT HEARD THE LAHSO CLRNC. THE KING AIR LNDG ON RWY 18R WAS SLOWED TO TAXI SPD AND GETTING READY TO TURN OFF PRIOR TO THE XING RWYS. I DID NOT SEE KING AIR UNTIL WE WERE ALREADY IN THE INTXN. WE WERE TRAVELING TOO FAST TO STOP PRIOR TO THE INTXN. WE NEED A PROC TO VERIFY THAT BOTH PLTS ACKNOWLEDGE ALL CLRNCS; ESPECIALLY LAHSO. WE ALSO HAD A MAJOR AIRLINE FO IN THE JUMPSEAT WHO WAS LISTENING ON THE SPEAKER; BUT DID NOT COMMENT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 343216: I DID NOT HEAR CLRNC NOR FO'S REPLY. OUR COMPANY HAS NO PROC FOR CREW MEMBERS XCHKING LNDG OR HOLD SHORT CLRNCS. IT IS ASSUMED THE OTHER GUY WAS LISTENING. A BEECHCRAFT KING AIR HAD LANDED ON RWY 18L AND WAS ROLLING OUT. I HAD JUST PUT THE NOSEWHEEL ON THE RWY AND SELECTED BETA PWR WHEN I SAW HIM; BUT WAS TRAVELING TOO FAST TO HOLD SHORT OF HIS RWY WITHOUT MAKING A VERY QUICK STOP. THE KING AIR TURNED OFF AT A TXWY N OF OUR RWY AVOIDING THE CONFLICT.
