FLC OF A B777 FORGOT LNDG CLNRC AND DID NOT REMEMBER THAT THEY HAD NOT OBTAINED CLRNC UNTIL AFTER THEY HAD DEPLANED.

Narrative

THE ATIS ADVERTISED S LNDGS AT DEN INTL; WITH A STRONG WIND FROM THE S OF 25 KTS. UPON CONTACTING APCH CTL THE CAPT (PNF) ACCEPTED A SHORT TURN IN TO RWY 7. I WAS VERY BUSY GETTING THE AIRPLANE DOWN AND CONFIGURED. ALSO; WE WERE CLRED FOR THE VISUAL AND TOLD TO CONTACT TWR; WE WERE #2 FOR THE RWY. WE WATCHED THE ACFT AHEAD OF US GAR AS APCH TOLD US AGAIN TO CONTACT THE TWR. THE CAPT; UPON SEEING THE DRAMATIC CRAB REQUIRED ASKED THE CTLR 'WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH RWY 17.' MEANWHILE; WE HAVE PASSED THROUGH 1000 FT AGL. I GOT VERY BUSY MONITORING ACFT CTL AND TRIED TO COVER THE FINAL DSCNT CHKLIST. I LANDED AND TAXIED THE ACFT TO THE GATE. WALKING THROUGH THE TERMINAL; THE CAPT ASKED IF WE HAD RECEIVED LNDG CLRNC. ALTHOUGH I COULD REMEMBER THE 2 CALLS TO CONTACT THE TWR; AND THE CTLR SAYING CONTACT GND; I FOUND MYSELF UNCERTAIN OF HEARING THE LNDG CLRNC. MY LESSON FROM THIS WAS TO KEEP RADIO XMISSIONS TO TIME CRITICAL/PERTINENT SUBJECTS IN ALL CRITICAL PHASES OF FLT; ESPECIALLY APCH AND LNDG. AS I PLAN ON TAKING THIS LESSON TO THE L SEAT WITH ME I WILL ALSO TRY TO ASSOCIATE A TAXI LIGHT 'ON' SWITCH POS TO VERIFY LNDG CLRNC.
