PLT OF AN SMA DEPARTING FROM TEB ARPT IN NEW JERSEY ERRONEOUSLY PENETRATED N90'S CLASS B AIRSPACE.

Narrative

MY FLT FROM TEB TO AIY STARTED AT THE FBO; WITH A CALL TO TEB CLRNC. I HAD ASKED CLRNC FOR A VFR DEP AND A CLASS B CLB TO 4500 FT. AFTER RECEIVING A SQUAWK CODE I THEN ASKED THEM FOR THE DEP FREQ TO GET CLASS B CLRNC AND VECTORS TO CLB TO MY REQUESTED ALT. THE CTLR SAID THAT THE TWR WOULD PROVIDE THAT FOR ME UPON CONTACTING THEM. AFTER RECEIVING THE ATIS AND CONTACTING GND I DID MY RUN- UP AND TAXIED TO THE ACTIVE RWY WHERE I WAITED FOR TKOF CLRNC FROM THE TWR. AFTER TKOF I HELD RWY HEADING AND PROCEEDED TO CLB; AT 2000 FT MSL THE TWR INSTRUCTED ME TO DSND TO 1500 FT AND TURN TO A HDG OF 300 DEGS. AFTER DSNDING TO 1500 FT AND MAINTAINING A HDG OF 300 FT FOR A FEW MI THE TWR THEN ANNOUNCED THAT RADAR SVC IS TERMINATED SQUAWK 1200 AND TURN ON COURSE; MY COURSE BEING SW. AT THAT TIME I ASKED THE TWR FOR DEP FREQ SO I CAN RECEIVE VECTORS AROUND THE CLASS B; AND NOT CONFLICT WITH OTHER TFC. HE SAID THEY WERE TOO BUSY; AND TO TURN ON COURSE. I MAINTAINED ALT AT 1500 FT LEFT THE TWR FREQ ON THE #1 RADIO AND TURNED ON COURSE NAVING WITH THE GPS. IN A COUPLE OF MI THE TWR CAME ON AND CALLED MY NUMBER TWICE WHEN I RESPONDED HE SAID: 'GUESS WHERE YOU ARE' (SARCASTICALLY). AFTER CALLING SOME TFC AND VECTORS HE THEN HANDED ME OVER TO DEP. DEP GAVE ME A VECTOR AND CLRNC TO CLB TO 4500 FT. AFTER A FEW MI THEY ASKED ME TO COPY A PHONE NUMBER AND CALL AS SOON AS PRACTICAL. AFTER LNDG I CALLED NY TRACON; THEY WENT ON TO INFORM ME THAT I HAD INADVERTENTLY ENTERED INTO THE CLASS B AND CAUSED AN ACR JET TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION. BECAUSE OF ME HE WOULD HAVE TO FILE A TCASII RPT; AND THE FAA WOULD CONTACT ME. IT IS MY FEELING THAT THE TEB TWR SHOULD HAVE CONTACTED ME BEFORE I ENTERED THE CLASS B IF HE WAS IN FACT WATCHING ME ON RADAR; AND GIVEN ME VECTORS AROUND THE RESTR AIRSPACE. I KNOW IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO AVOID CLASS B AT ALL TIMES; BUT I STARTED MY FLT BY REQUESTING CLASS B CLRNC. IF THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE VECTORS OR CLRNC I SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED ON THE GND; THEN I WOULD HAVE FILED IFR TO BE SURE OF DEPARTING THROUGH CLASS B SAFELY.
