Narrative
ON ENTERING BASE TO RWY 19; I WENT THROUGH GUMPS CHK. WINDS WERE RPTED AT 240 DEGS AT 22 KTS AND GUSTING. I PUT IN ONE NOTCH OF FLAPS. ON FINAL; I REDUCED MANIFOLD PRESSURE TO 11-12 INCHES AND REDUCED INDICATED AIRSPD TO APPROX 85 MPH. I THEN RETURNED PWR TO 13-14 INCHES. OVER THE THRESHOLD I PULLED BACK PWR SLIGHTLY (NOT TO IDLE BECAUSE OF WINDS). I LET L WHEEL TOUCH (WITHOUT A HARD HIT). THE PLANE THEN SLOWLY STARTED TO SAG TO THE L. (I WAS STILL OVER CTRLINE ABOUT 1000 FT DOWN THE RWY.) I PUSHED THROTTLE FULL FORWARD. THE PLANE RESPONDED QUICKLY AND LIFTED OFF THE RWY. I DECLARED A GAR. THE TWR SAID I HAD 3 GEAR DOWN. ON GAR I HAD A GEAR 'IN TRANSIT' LIGHT ON. I REACHED FOR GEAR LEVER; IT WAS IN DOWN POS. I CYCLED LEVER UP AND THEN DOWN. I GOT 2 GREENS (R MAIN DID NOT LIGHT). I PUSHED EMER GEAR DOWN RELEASE. (AUTOMATIC DEPLOY WAS NEVER DISABLED.) I KICKED RUDDER L AND R. THE THIRD GREEN CAME ON. I REQUESTED A FLY-BY OF THE TWR FOR A VISUAL CHK. TWR RPT 3 GEAR DOWN AND CLRED ME TO LAND. I RPTED ON DOWNWIND FOR LNDG THAT I HAD NO INDICATED AIRSPD. ALTIMETER AND VSI WERE RESPONDING. I EXECUTED A NORMAL TFC PATTERN APCH AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. AT NO TIME DID I HAVE ANY INDICATION OF A PROP STRIKE. UPON SHUTDOWN; EXAMINATION SHOWED PROP TIP DAMAGE; PITOT TUBE HANGING LOOSE FROM WING; FIBERGLASS WINGTIP SCRAPED; L AILERON OUTBOARD TIP SCRAPED; AND MARKS ON OUTBOARD SIDE OF L MAIN TIRE. WALKING THE RWY WITH ARPT PERSONNEL; WE SAW WHAT LOOKED LIKE 20 MARKS FROM THE PROP TIPS APPROX 10 FT L OF CTRLINE AND A 2-3 FT MARK THAT COULD HAVE BEEN FROM THE PITOT TUBE.
