OUR FLT WAS CLRED FOR THE SADDE 6 ARR TO EXPECT THE ILS TO RWY 24R AT LAX. I WAS THE PNF. WE WERE ASKED TO RPT THE ARPT IN SIGHT. PF RPTED THE ARPT IN SIGHT AND WE WERE TOLD TO EXPECT A VISUAL TO RWY 24L AND GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS TO TURN BASE BEHIND TFC AT OUR 1 O'CLOCK WHICH WAS LNDG ON RWY 24R. ALSO EXPECT TFC ON FINAL FOR RWY 25L AND FURTHER TFC TURNING BEHIND AND INSIDE OUR TURN FOR RWY 24R. AS PNF I LOCATED THE 3 ACFT POINTED OUT BY ATC. AS WE CROSSED BEHIND THE FIRST ACFT GOING TO RWY 24R IT WAS APPARENT THAT WE WERE GOING TO OVERSHOOT THE RWY 24L FINAL COURSE AND I ADVISED THE PF OF THAT FACT AND WE INCREASED THE TURN RATE TO CORRECT BACK TO COURSE. APCH CALLED US TO CONFIRM THAT WE WERE CORRECTING BACK AND REMINDED US THAT THERE WAS TFC S OF US FOR THE S COMPLEX. PF STATED THAT HE HAD BEEN LOOKING AT THE WRONG RWY. WHEN I CHKED THE INS WIND READOUT I NOTED A WIND OF 35 KTS FORM THE N WHICH HAD NOT BEEN EXPECTED AND THUS NOT ACCOUNTED FOR. THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THE OVERSHOOT. WE WERE HANDED OFF TO TWR AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. WE RECEIVED A TA FROM THE TCASII; GENERATED BY THE ACFT ON FINAL FOR RWY 25L. HOWEVER; THERE WERE NO OTHER TCASII ALERTS AND NO RA'S. PLT MISIDENT OF THE LNDG RWY; AN UNEXPECTED XWIND TAILWIND COMPONENT; AND THE PROX OF OTHER TFC ALL CONTRIBUTED TO THIS INCIDENT.
