AFTER TOUCHDOWN FOR FULL STOP; TWR INSTRUCTED RPTR PLT TO EXIT THE RWY IMMEDIATELY. RPTR APPARENTLY TRIED TO EXIT TOO FAST RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE ACFT.

Narrative

I WAS INSTRUCTED TO EVAC TO 'GET OFF THE RWY ANY WAY YOU CAN; NOW' BY LCL CTL WHILE ON ROLLOUT ON A FULL-STOP LNDG; LEAVING THE RWY IMMEDIATELY TO THE UNPAVED SIDE FIELD; DENTING THE PROPS AND DAMAGING THE LNDG GEAR; LUCKILY ONLY SLIGHTLY. APPARENTLY A YAK (WWII SMALL SIZE AIRPLANE I DESCRIBE IT AS FAR AS I KNOW) HAPPENED TO BE RIGHT BEHIND US ON FINAL WITH A BROKEN RADIO; WE ACTUALLY SAW HIM GOING AROUND AFTER THE EVENT. I BELIEVE THAT TWR PLACED US ON A DANGEROUS SIT. IT'S UNACCEPTABLE THAT AFTER BEING INSTRUCTED FIRST; TO WIDEN OUR PATTERN THEN TO SHORTEN OUR BASE AND FINALLY CLR TO LAND; 5 SECONDS AFTER OUR PLANE CROSSED THE THRESHOLD WE WERE INSTRUCTED THIS WAY. CTLR OBVIOUSLY KNEW OUR POS AND THE RADIO FAILURE ACFT POS (BECAUSE LCL WAS XMITTING TO THEM ALL THE TIME); BUT STILL CLRED US TO LAND; PLACING US IN A DANGEROUS SIT. IF THERE EVER WAS A DANGEROUS SIT; AND IF SUCH SIT WAS NEVER DANGEROUS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW -- WHY WERE WE INSTRUCTED IN SUCH A HARD WAY; THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED A GREATER DAMAGE TO OUR PLANE?
