Narrative
I WAS DOING NIGHT LNDGS AT MHT. THE FIRST WAS TO A FULL STOP ON RWY 24. AFTER LNDG; I STOPPED ON RWY AND TOLD TWR CTLR THAT I WANTED TO TAXI BACK FOR MORE FULL STOP LNDGS. HE HAD ME DO A 180 DEG TURN ON THE RWY AND TAXI BACK TO INTXN A AND HOLD ON THE RWY W OF RWY 35 WHICH IS AN INTERSECTING RWY. HE THEN CLRED ME FOR TKOF FROM INTXN A ON RWY 24. AT L DOWNWIND MIDFIELD; I CALLED TWR AND WAS CLRED FOR THE OPTION. I LANDED ON RWY 24; STOPPED; DID A 180 DEG TURN AND STARTED BACK-TAXIING. THE CTLR TOLD ME TO EXPEDITE MY BACK TAXI TO INTXN A SINCE THERE WAS TFC ON SHORT FINAL TO RWY 24. WHEN I WAS CLR OF THE ACTIVE; THE CTLR ASKED WHAT I WAS DOING SINCE HE HAD NOT CLRED ME TO DO A BACK TAXI WITH THE 180 DEG TURN. THINKING BACK; HE WAS CORRECT HE HAD NOT CLRED ME. I FEEL THAT THE SIT OF THE FIRST LNDG SET THE STAGE FOR MY MISSING THE SIT ON THE SECOND. SINCE I RECEIVED THE CLRNC ON THE FIRST LNDG I FELL INTO THE TRAP OF REACTING THE SAME WAY ON THE SECOND. THE CLRNC FOR A 180 DEG TURN BACK TAXI FROM THE FIRST LNDG STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR THE SECOND. I NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERY LNDG IS TREATED AS A SEPARATE OCCURRENCE AND BE MORE ALERT FOR CLRNCS.
