AN ACR B737 LANDED WITHOUT A CLRNC ON RWY 19L AT SFO. THE CAPT FORGOT TO SWITCH TO TWR DURING THE FO'S APCH.
Narrative
ON A FLT FROM LAS TO SFO DURING A SCHEDULED ACR OP; WE WERE BEING VECTORED FOR A VISUAL APCH TO RWY 19L. WX CONDITIONS WERE VMC WITH CLOUDS AT NUMEROUS LAYERS AND WIDELY SCATTERED DOWN TO APPROX 1000 FT. AT APPROX 11 MI FROM SFO AND SLIGHTLY L OF THE LOC TO RWY 19L WE CALLED RWY IN SIGHT. BAY APCH ISSUED THE CLRNC 'CLRED FOR A VISUAL TO RWY 19L MAINTAIN 3000 FT TILL REACHING THE SFO 8 DME.' I INTERCEPTED THE LOC JUST INSIDE SHAKE INTXN. THE CAPT SWITCHED TO THE SFO VOR TO DETERMINE 8 DME. I WAS REQUIRED TO DEVIATE APPROX 2 DOTS HIGH ON THE APCH TO COMPLY WITH THE XING RESTR. AT THIS TIME THE ALT RESTR CAUSED OUR ATTN TO BE DIVERTED TO THE TASK OF REJOINING A NORMAL APCH PATH TO FACILITATE A STABILIZED APCH IN COMPLIANCE WITH OUR OPS MANUAL. UPON LNDG; BOTH MYSELF AND THE CAPT NOTICED THAT TWR FREQ WAS NOT SELECTED ON THE AUDIO PANEL. THIS CAUSED US TO QUESTION WHETHER OR NOT WE RECEIVED LNDG CLRNC. THE CAPT TOOK CTL OF THE ACFT FOR THE TAXI OFF RWY 19L TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 19R. I TUNED IN TWR AND THE CTLR CLRED US ACROSS RWY 19R. AFTER WE CROSSED RWY 19R I TUNED IN GND CTL AND WE WERE ISSUED A TAXI CLRNC TO THE GATE.
