A C425 PLT STARTED A DSCNT TOO SOON AND DSNDED THROUGH BAB CLASS C AIRSPACE WITHOUT BEING IN RADIO COM. THE PLT BECAME IMPATIENT WITH THE APCH CTLR AND CANCELED IFR AND STARTED DOWN WITHOUT COORDINATING ENTRY INTO BAB AIRSPACE.
Narrative
WAS IFR AT 13000 FT OVER SMF (JUST N) AND MOST CLOUDS WERE BEHIND US (DEPARTED OAK). ASKED FOR LOWER AND A VISUAL APCH. SOMEHOW THE CTLR'S RESPONSE WAS NOT VERY EFFICIENT CONSIDERING I WANTED TO DSND 'NOW' AND GO DIRECT TO MYV FOR LNDG. SO I CANCELED IFR AND INITIATED A STEEP DSCNT TO SET UP FOR RWY 14 (L DOWNWIND WITH A XWIND ENTRY). THE CTLR GAVE ME A FREQ CHANGE ABOUT 9 MI FROM THE ARPT AND I WAS ABOUT 7000 FT. I SOON CALLED MY POS ON THE MYV CTAF; ENTERED THE PATTERN AND LANDED. EVERYTHING WAS FINE EXCEPT FOR ONE THING -- I FLEW THROUGH BEALE'S (4100-1600 FT) CLASS C AIRSPACE WHILE DSNDING TO MY PATTERN ALT. I DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS; ASSUMING THE CTLR THOUGHT MY DSCNT PROFILE WAS OK. ON A FLT FROM OAK TO MYV 2 DAYS LATER; THE CTLR DID THE SAME THING. THIS TIME I REQUESTED TO STAY WITH HIM UNTIL BELOW THE CLASS C AT MYV. HE SAID NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT BECAUSE HE HAD NO OTHER TFC IN THE BEALE CLASS C AIRSPACE; THEN HE HAD ME CONTACT MYV CTAF; ETC. OH WELL! I HAD MY BOSS IN THE R SEAT SO I WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS AND TRYING TO FLY LIKE I THOUGHT HE WOULD LIKE; RATHER THAN JUST RELAX AND EXHIBIT MY NORMALLY EXPERT FLYING SKILLS. I SHOULD HAVE QUESTIONED THE CTLR THE FIRST FLT THE WAY I DID ON THE SECOND. I HAD ALSO FLOWN INTO MYV MANY TIMES BEFORE IN A C402 AND BEEN HANDED OFF THE SAME WAY; BUT WAS MUCH LOWER -- BUT COME TO THINK OF IT; I HAVE DONE THIS ERROR BEFORE. I ASSUME THE SACRAMENTO CTLRS DON'T MIND NOT BEING IN TOUCH WITH CERTAIN FLTS AS THEY FLY THROUGH THE EDGE OF BEALE CLASS C AIRSPACE TOWARDS MYV.
