Narrative

IT WAS MY LEG FROM LAX-TOL. GOING INTO TOL WE WERE #2; ABOUT 5 MI IN TRAIL OF ANOTHER ACFT AND ABOUT 10-12 MI FROM THE ARPT WHEN WE CHKED ON WITH TWR. NEITHER THE ACFT IN FRONT NOR WE HAD BEEN CLRED TO LAND BECAUSE OF GND EQUIP ON THE RWY. BOTH OF US WERE TOLD TO CONTINUE. MY CREW AND I BECAME INVOLVED WITH OUR BEFORE LNDG CHKLIST AND I REMEMBER DURING THE CHKLIST HEARING THE ACFT IN FRONT OF US BEING CLRED TO LAND. AS WE GOT CLOSER TO THE RWY THE TURB BEGAN INCREASING TO MODERATE AND I BECAME PREOCCUPIED WITH HOLDING GS; LOC; AND AIRSPD AND FORGOT WE HAD NOT BEEN CLRED TO LAND. I NORMALLY TURN THE NOSE LNDG LIGHTS ON WHEN CLRED TO LAND. I HELD TRUE TO MY TECHNIQUE BUT FORGOT TO CHK THEM BEFORE LNDG. I NOTICED THEM OFF DURING THE LNDG ROLL. THE LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL AND THE RWY WAS CLR. TWR DIDN'T STATE A PROB WITH OUR OP. AFTER WE BLOCKED IN I ASKED THE REST OF THE CREW IF THEY REMEMBERED US BEING CLRED TO LAND. THEY DIDN'T REMEMBER EITHER WAY. I NEED TO BE MORE AWARE OF MY CLRNCS AND REMEMBER TO CHK MY MEMORY AID BEFORE I LAND. IF I AM STILL IN DOUBT I SHOULD ASK AGAIN.
