Narrative
THE QUESTION IS WHETHER OR NOT I WORKED 7 DAYS IN A ROW. THE FIRST MONTH I WAS BASED ON SALISBURY; MD; AND VOLUNTARILY BID TO MOVE TO TAMPA; FL. THIS MOVE WAS TO BE EFFECTIVE THE NEXT MONTH. I WAS SCHEDULED TO WORK THROUGH THE LAST WK IN SALISBURY AND START THE NEXT WEEK IN TAMPA -- LEAVING ME WITH 1 DAY TO GET TO TAMPA. INITIALLY THE COMPANY; A COMMUTER AIRLINE; SAID IT WAS UP TO ME TO GET TO TAMPA ON THIS ONE DAY FOR AN EARLY RPT ON THE NEXT DAY. WHEN I CALLED SCHEDULING ON THE DAY BEFORE TO SET UP MY 'COURTESY' MUST RIDE PASS FOR SALISBURY TO TAMPA; THE SCHEDULER SAID I WOULD NOT WORK ON THE LAST DAY OF THE FIRST TRIP BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE 7 DAYS OF WORK IN A ROW. SHE WAS TREATING MY DEADHEAD TO TAMPA AS A DAY OF WORK. ON THAT DAY I CHKED IN AND DEADHEADED TO TAMPA. I FLEW MY TRIP. ON THE THIRD DAY I WAS CALLED BY THE SCHEDULER WHO INITIALLY SAID THAT MY DEADHEAD WOULD NOT BE A DAY OF WORK. SHE SAID SHE WAS REASSIGNING ME TO MY TRIP ON THE LAST DAY BECAUSE THE DEADHEAD WAS NOT A DAY OF WORK. SHE SAID THE CHIEF PLT SAID IT WAS NOT A DAY OF WORK AND I WAS TO FLY ON THE LAST DAY OF THE TRIP. I FLEW THE TRIP ON THE LAST DAY. TECHNICALLY THIS MAKES 7 DAYS IN A ROW; EVEN THOUGH THE COMPANY SAID IT WAS NOT.
