Narrative

TAXI IN AT LAX AFTER ROUND-TRIP TO OGG. TAXIED WITHOUT CLRNC TWICE. FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED AT TXWYS S AND C. WE WERE TOLD TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY C BECAUSE OUR GATE WAS OCCUPIED. GND CLRLY TOLD US TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY C AND I READ BACK THE CLRNC. WE SORTED OUT OUR GATE PROB PRIOR TO REACHING TXWY C AND THE CAPT SAID HE WAS GOING TO CONTINUE AND TO ADVISE GND. I WAS UNABLE TO CONTACT GND PRIOR TO OUR TURN ONTO TXWY C. IT TURNS OUT THE CAPT DIDN'T GET THE CLRNC TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY C. I SHOULD HAVE SPOKEN UP WHEN HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO CONTINUE. SECOND INCIDENT WAS ABEAM TERMINAL ON TXWY C. WE WERE TOLD BY OUR RAMP THAT OUR GATE WAS OCCUPIED. GND TOLD US TO HOLD SHORT OF C8. IT TURNS OUT OUR GATE WAS WIDE OPEN. WE HAD BEEN HOLDING SHORT OF C8 FOR 5 MINS; WHEN WE REALIZED THAT THE GATE WAS OPEN AND OUR RAMP WAS MISTAKEN -- WE ALSO SAW OUR GUIDEMAN WAVING US ON -- THE CAPT ADDED PWR AND STARTED TO THE GATE WITHOUT CLRNC FROM GND. THE MISTAKES WERE CAUSED BY MISCOM; CONFUSION AND FATIGUE. I ALSO SHOULD HAVE SPOKEN UP WHEN I DIDN'T LIKE THE CAPT'S IDEA TO CONTINUE ONTO TXWY C FROM TXWY S.
