FLC OF BE1900 HAS GEAR RETRACTION PROB ON INITIAL CLB. AFTER MUCH EFFORT TO DETERMINE AND CORRECT THE PROB; THEY RETURN LAND.
Narrative
DURING INITIAL CLBOUT FROM PQI; I SELECTED THE GEAR HANDLE TO THE UP POS AND THE GEAR RELAY CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED. THE LNDG GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT AND THE 3 GREEN GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED LIGHTS REMAINED ILLUMINATED. WE CONTINUED TO CLB THROUGH 1500 FT AGL AND DEPARTED THE PQI TFC AREA. ON INITIAL CONTACT WITH ZBW WE ADVISED THEM WE MAY NEED TO RETURN TO PQI. WE REFED THE BEECHCRAFT ABNORMAL CHKLIST AND DIDN'T FIND OUR SPECIFIC SIT; BUT USED IT AS A GUIDE. WE CALLED THE COMPANY STATION PERSONNEL AND HAD THEM CALL MAINT CTL. MAINT TOLD US TO PUT GEAR HANDLE DOWN AND RESET THE GEAR RELAY CIRCUIT BREAKER ONCE. WE PUT THE GEAR HANDLE DOWN AND RESET THE CIRCUIT BREAKER. THE GEAR POS INDICATORS WERE STILL INDICATING 3 GREEN DOWN AND LOCKED. WE REFED THE BE1900 CFM LNDG GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED VERIFICATION PROCS. ALL 6 VERIFICATION PROCS INDICATED THE LNDG GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. WE VISUALLY CONFIRMED THE GEAR WAS DOWN. WE CALLED PQI STATION AND TOLD THEM WE WERE RETURNING TO THE FIELD. ZBW CLRED US FOR A VISUAL APCH TO PQI ARPT. THE LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL.
