Narrative
WE WERE ON AN ASSIGNED HEADING JUST S OF VALDOSTA; GA; AT FL290 WHEN WE GOT CLRNC TO PROCEED DIRECT TO UGENE WHICH IS A FIX ON THE LEESE NINE ARR FOR ORLANDO; AND CROSS 15 MI N OF UGENE AT FL270. WE THEN GOT A FREQ CHANGE TO ANOTHER ZJX; THEY DIDN'T ANSWER INITIALLY. THEN; AN ANIMATED VOICE TOLD US TO EXPEDITE DSCNT TO FL270 AND TURN L TO 060 DEGS. THERE APPEARED TO BE NO TFC CONFLICT. SHORTLY THEREAFTER WE WERE GIVEN CLRNC TO PROCEED DIRECT TO UGENE. THE CTLR WAS VERY BUSY. WE ASKED 'WHAT HAPPENED BACK THERE' AND HE GOT BACK TO US IN A COUPLE OF MINS; THEN SAID THAT THE OTHER CTLR SHOULD HAVE GIVEN US FL270 AT CLAWZ. THE FLT PROCEEDED WITHOUT INCIDENT TO ORLANDO. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 424845: UPON EXAMINING THE SID AND TRYING TO DETERMINE EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED I BELIEVE THE CTLR MEANT TO HAVE US CROSS '50' MI N OF UGENE AT FL270. THE FIRST CTLR SHOULD HAVE HAD US CROSS 'CLAWZ' AT FL270 WHICH IS IN FACT 51 MI N OF UGENE. MY SUGGESTION IS FOR THE CTLRS TO USE CLRER VERBIAGE; IE; WORDS 'FIVE ZERO' FOR 50 OR 'ONE FIVE' FOR 15 AND THIS CONFUSION WOULD PROBABLY NOT HAVE HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
