UNRULY PAX DISOBEYS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND THREATENS BODILY HARM TO THE FLT ATTENDANTS.

Synopsis

UNRULY PAX DISOBEYS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND THREATENS BODILY HARM TO THE FLT ATTENDANTS.

Narrative

DURING DSCNT INTO ORD THE FLT ATTENDANTS CAME INTO THE COCKPIT TO EXPRESS THEIR CONCERN THAT PAX IN SEAT WAS CAUSING A VIOLENT DISTURBANCE IN THE CABIN. HE WAS NOT FOLLOWING ANY OF THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS OF THE FLT ATTENDANTS. WAS SWEARING AND THREATENING BODILY HARM TO THE FLT ATTENDANTS. USING HIS CELL PHONE; AND WALKING AROUND THE CABIN IMMEDIATELY AFTER LNDG AND DURING TAXI IN. HE ALSO WOULD NOT GIVE UP HIS ALCOHOLIC DRINK PRIOR TO LNDG. I CALLED RAMP 25-30 MIN OUT TO MAKE SURE THAT NOT JUST AN AGENT MEET THE ACFT BUT THE POLICE AS WELL. UPON ARR ONLY SUPVR AGENTS WERE ON HAND AND THE PAX RAN AWAY BUT WAS LATER APPREHENDED. ONCE AGAIN OUR COMPANY RAMP PERSONNEL DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH ON OUR REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE. THEY HAVE DONE THIS IN THE PAST. I'VE WRITTEN IT UP AND AM TOLD THAT THE COM BARRIERS ARE FIXED. COMPANY RAMP PERSONNEL STILL DO NOT TAKE PAX MISCONDUCT ISSUES SERIOUSLY. THEY DO NOT WISH TO OFFEND THE PAX FOR FEAR THAT THEY WILL NOT RETURN. THIS IS WHAT AGENTS TELL ME IS THE REASON THE POLICE ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY CALLED. SEVERAL OTHER PAX ASKED ME IF I WANTED THEM AS WITNESSES. I HAVE THEIR NAMES AND BUSINESS CARDS.
