Narrative
I HAVE FILED 2 UCR'S OVER THE PAST 5 YRS IN REGARD TO OUR FLT WATCH FREQ 122.0 AT PNE. THERE APPEARS TO BE A BLEEDOVER OCCURRING FROM ANOTHER FREQ WHICH HAS CREATED A POTENTIALLY UNSAFE CONDITION WHEN TRYING TO TALK WITH ACFT. OF THE 2 UCR'S; THE MOST RECENT WAS APPROX 3 MONTHS AGO. I HAVE NO FEEDBACK FROM EITHER MY FACILITY OR FROM FAA HEADQUARTERS. WITH SUMMER TSTMS DEVELOPING; THE RADIO TFC IS INCREASING AND SO IS THE BLEEDOVER FROM THE OTHER FREQ. IF THIS SIT CONTINUES; YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE VITAL WX INFO TO A PLT AS A RESULT OF THIS INTERFERENCE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE FLT WATCH FREQ (122.0) INTERFERENCE IS STILL A PROB. RPTR ALSO INDICATED THAT THE XMITTER SITE FOR THIS FREQ IS LOCATED AT PNE. THIS IS THE SAME XMITTER SITE THAT ALSO HAS THE IPT FSS (122.6) FREQ. RPTR BELIEVES THAT THIS IPT FSS FREQ IS THE PROB. RPTR STATED THAT A UCR WAS SUBMITTED IN MAR/99; WITH NO RESPONSE FROM THE FAA. RPTR ALSO SAID THAT THE LCL AIRWAYS FACILITIES OFFICE HAS INDICATED THAT THEY KNOW HOW TO FIX THE PROB; BUT BECAUSE THE XMITTER SITE IS LOCATED IN ANOTHER AIRWAYS FACILITIES SECTOR'S AREA; THEY CAN'T TAKE ANY ACTION.
