Narrative
WHEN LNDG; I WAS TOLD TO TAKE FIRST TXWY EXIT TO L. IT WAS SHAPED LIKE A 'V'. I TOOK THE FIRST EXIT AND WENT L. THE CTLR WAS TOO BUSY TO ASK WHICH ONE TO TAKE; AND I HAD NOT SEEN THIS BEFORE AND DID NOT HAVE TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT. IMMEDIATELY; I HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE THE WRATH OF GOD ASKING ME IF I HAD TAKEN THE REVERSE TXWY. I REALIZED THAT THIS WAY WAS PROBABLY JUST THAT AND ANSWERED 'YES; SIR.' THERE WAS NO OTHER TFC TAXIING. I THEN ASKED HIM IF I SHOULD TURN AROUND TO GO THE RIGHT WAY AND I HEARD 'SURE.' THIS MAY HAVE BEEN SARCASM; CONSIDERING IT NOW. I TURNED THE PLANE SO THAT I COULD SEE BEHIND ME AND TAXIED FORWARD JUST A FEW FT. I COULD THEN SEE THAT THERE WAS NO WAY TO ACCESS THE CORRECT TXWY WITHOUT GOING OUT ON THE RWY. I COULD NOT GET THE CTLR TO TALK TO ME; SO I TURNED BACK ON MY ORIGINAL DIRECTION AND PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE TXWY UNTIL I COULD GET INSTRUCTIONS. OVER THE RADIO; I THEN HEARD HIM (THE CTLR) TELL AN ACR JET TO 'GO AROUND' BECAUSE OF ME. I RADIOED THAT I WAS NOT AND HAD NOT BEEN ON THE RWY AGAIN. HE HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO MOVE ME; BUT WOULD NOT COMMUNICATE WITH ME. HE FINALLY INSTRUCTED ME TO TAXI. I VERIFIED THE DIRECTION AND TXWY LETTER AND PROCEEDED.
