A PIPER PA34 PLT FEELS HE WAS MISIDENTED AS AN ACFT THAT FAILED TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AT SJC AND MAY HAVE ACTION TAKEN AGAINST HIM.

Narrative

I WAS ADVISED PRIOR TO SJC TWR; BY BAY APCH THAT I WAS FOLLOWING A WARRIOR AND TO SLOW MY SPD DOWN TO 140 KTS. AFTER SWITCHING FROM BAY APCH TO SJC TWR; I HEARD THEM STERNLY ADVISE A WARRIOR ABOUT XING OVER THE DEP END OF RWY 30 AT 1500 FT; WHEN HE WAS SUPPOSED TO CROSS MIDFIELD AT 2000 FT; THEY WERE TELLING HIM TO TURN L DOWNWIND FOR RWY 29 AND TO CALL THE TWR AFTER LNDG. A MIN OR 2 LATER TWR INSTRUCTED ME TO FOLLOW THE WARRIOR AND TO CROSS MIDFIELD AT OR ABOVE 2000 FT. I WAS STILL SEARCHING FOR THE WARRIOR WHEN I WAS ADVISED OF OTHER TFC; AS I WAS JUST XING MIDFIELD AT 2000 FT. I THEN ADVISED THE TWR NEGATIVE ON TFC AND LOWERED MY WING TO LOOK UNDER AND BESIDE ME AS I CROSSED OVER RWY 29. TWR THEN COMES ON THE RADIO AND TELLS ME TO TURN L TO AVOID THE DEP END OF RWY 30 AND TO CALL THE TWR WHEN ON THE GND. I THEN CLARIFIED WITH TWR THAT I WAS CLRED TO LAND RWY 29. A PERSON INSISTED THAT I CROSSED OVER THE DEP END OF RWY 30 AT 1500 FT; AND THAT 'I HAD AN ACFT DEPARTING AND CLBING THROUGH 1000 FT CREATING A HAZARD.' WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO EXPLAIN THAT I WAS OVER MIDFIELD AT 2000 FT; NOT 1500 FT OVER THE END OF RWY 30; HE CUT ME OFF AND ASKED 'WHAT'S YOUR PROB
