CL65 CONTINUES ON ERRONEOUSLY PROGRAMMED ARR TO CVG.

Narrative

AS FO; I COPIED CLRNC TO CVG; WHICH WAS 'AS FILED.' I RELAYED THIS TO THE CAPT AND HE PROGRAMMED THE FMS AS I COMPLETED MY OTHER DUTIES. WE COMMENCED OUR SHORT TAXI WITHOUT MY HAVING AN OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW OUR RTE. DURING TAXI; WE WERE ISSUED A CHANGE TO OUR RTE AND THE CINCE 3 ARR. THE CAPT WAS UNFAMILIAR WITH ARPT AND ASKED ME TO CHANGE FMS; AS WE TAXIED. UNFORTUNATELY; HAVING NOT BEEN ABLE TO REVIEW ORIGINAL FLT PLAN; I MISTAKENLY ASSUMED THAT THE CINCE 3 WAS ALREADY IN THE FMS. WE HAD ALREADY REACHED THE RWY BY THIS TIME WITHOUT MY HAVING HAD A CHANCE TO COMPLETE ANY CHKLISTS. BEING RELATIVELY NEW IN THE ACFT AND NEW TO FMS; I ASKED THE CAPT TO REVIEW THE CHANGES I HAD MADE TO THE FMS. HE LOOKED BRIEFLY AND SAID IT LOOKED OK. I COMPLETED THE CHKLISTS IN SOMEWHAT OF A HURRY; AND WE DEPARTED. AS WE APCHED THE CVG AREA; AND I WAS ABLE TO SEE OUR RTE MAPPED ON THE FMS; IT DID NOT LOOK RIGHT. IT DEPICTED A LONGER RTE TO THE ARPT THAN I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED; BUT HAVING BEEN GIVEN A LAST MIN RERTE WE WEREN'T SURE WHAT TO MAKE OF IT. I VOICED MY CONCERNS TO THE CAPT; BUT HE WASN'T SURE IF THE ROUTING WAS FOR TFC FLOW PURPOSES. AS WE COMMENCED A TURN AT ROD TOWARDS SHB; THE CTLR ASKED US TO WHICH FIX WE WERE HEADED. WE TOLD HIM. HE THEN ASKED US ABOUT OUR CLRNC; AND I TOLD THE CAPT WHAT WE HAD BEEN GIVEN. AGAIN HE RELAYED THIS TO THE CTLR. AT THIS POINT THEY VECTORED US TO INTERCEPT THE CINCE 3; AND WE PROCEEDED TO OUR DEST WITHOUT INCIDENT. UNDOUBTEDLY; I MADE AN ERROR IN PROGRAMMING THE FMS; HOWEVER; IF I HAD BEEN ABLE TO REVIEW OUR ORIGINAL RTE BEFORE DEPARTING THE GATE; I WOULD HAVE CAUGHT THE CHANGE OF ARR. ALSO; I FEEL THE CAPT SHOULD HAVE STOPPED TAXIING THE ACFT; PARTICULARLY AS HE WAS UNFAMILIAR; AND PROPERLY REVIEWED THE FMS AS I HAD ASKED. MAYBE THEN ONE OF US WOULD HAVE REALIZED THE MISTAKE.
