PAX RPT; B767; DUSSELDORF; GERMANY-ORD. CABIN CREW KEPT SERVING LIQUOR TO INTOXICATED; LOUD MUSICIAN GROUP; COMPROMISING FLT SAFETY.

Narrative

I'M NOT SURE THAT AS A PAX; THAT THIS IS A FORM I SHOULD BE USING TO RPT SOMETHING THAT OCCURRED ON A FLT. NO INJURIES OCCURRED DUE TO THIS ACTIVITY; BUT IF ANYTHING (EG; TURB) HAD OCCURRED; THERE COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUS INJURIES TO MANY ON BOARD. WHAT WAS MOST DISTURBING WAS THAT THE FLC DID NOTHING TO CTL THIS GROUP; AND KEPT SERVING ALCOHOL TO THEM EVEN AFTER SEVERAL MEMBERS OF THE GROUP APPEARED TO BE BECOMING VERY INTOXICATED. I FEEL THIS PUT ALL OF THE PAX AND CREW IN A DANGEROUS SIT. TO SUMMARIZE; THERE WAS A LARGE GROUP OF MUSICIANS ON THE FLT THAT WERE RUDE; INCONSIDERATE; LOUD; BLOCKED THE AISLES CONSTANTLY THROUGHOUT THE FLT; DID NOT RESPOND TO FASTEN SEATBELTS INSTRUCTIONS; BANGED INTO SEATS; AND WERE JUST GENERALLY DISRUPTIVE. ON A 9 HR FLT; THAT KIND OF DISTURBANCE CAN BECOME MAGNIFIED AS ONE BECOMES MORE TIRED AND AGGRAVATED. THE MOST DISTURBING ASPECT OF THIS INCIDENT WAS THAT THE FLC SEEMED TO HAVE LITTLE OR NO CTL OVER WHAT WAS HAPPENING. ON TOP OF THAT; THEY CONTINUED SERVING ALCOHOL TO THIS GROUP THROUGHOUT THE FLT AND MANY IN THIS GROUP WERE OBVIOUSLY INTOXICATED. WE REPEATEDLY ASKED CREW MEMBERS TO TRY AND CTL THE SIT; AND MANY OF THEM SIMPLY SHRUGGED THEIR SHOULDERS. ONE MEMBER OF THE CREW (THE ONE WHO GAVE US THESE ENVELOPES TO MAIL IN) TRIED HER BEST AND WAS VERY FRUSTRATED OVER THE SIT. MANY OTHERS (INCLUDING THE PURSER) DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE. IF THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN ANY KIND OF EMER THERE COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUS INJURIES TO PAX AND CREW (AND NOT ONLY THOSE IN THIS GROUP). TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT; AS ANGRY AND UPSET AS WE WERE WITH THIS PARTICULAR GROUP; IT DOES NOT COMPARE TO THE DISGUST FELT OVER THE RESPONSE OF THE CREW TO WHAT WAS HAPPENING.
