AN EMB120 FO ON HIS FIRST IOE TRIP LEARNS; AFTER THE 5TH LEG OF THE TRIP; THAT HE HAS FLOWN WITH A 'HIGH MINIMUMS CAPT.' FIRST LEG FLOWN OUT OF MDW; IL.

Narrative

I WAS HIRED BY ACR AS A FO AND BEGAN TRAINING ON THE EMBRAER EMB120 IN OCT/99. MY TRAINING ON THE EMB120 WAS COMPLETED IN NOV/99 AND I DID MY REQUIRED TKOF AND LNDGS IN FLL IN NOV/99 -- 10 DAYS LATER. I WAS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN MY IOE FLTS ON JAN/XA/00. DAY 1 OF THE 2-DAY TRIP WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A DEADHEAD FLT TO MDW. THE FOLLOWING DAY; I WAS SCHEDULED TO FLY 5 LEGS. BECAUSE THIS WAS MY ABSOLUTE FIRST REVENUE FLT WITH THE COMPANY; NOT KNOWING WHAT TO EXPECT FROM AN IOE CHK AIRMAN; BEING EXTREMELY NERVOUS; AND BEING RUSHED ALL DAY DUE WX AND TIGHT SCHEDULING; I INADVERTENTLY FLEW WITH A HIGH MINIMUMS CAPT FROM THE MDW ARPT TO CVG. I ALSO FLEW WITH HIM ON THE LAST 4 LEGS OF OUR TRIP. IT WAS NOT UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY WHEN I REMEMBERED THAT I HAD PAPERWORK THE IOE CHK AIRMAN WAS SUPPOSED TO FILL OUT; DID I START TO REALIZE SOMETHING WAS WRONG. I REALIZED WHAT HAD HAPPENED WHEN I WAS MAKING SURE THE CAPT HAD SIGNED ALL OF THE FLT RELEASES BEFORE TURNING THEM IN. ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FLT RELEASE SHEETS WAS WRITTEN; 'HIGH MINIMUMS RULES APPLY.' BESIDES MY LACK OF EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION; I ATTRIBUTE AN INEXCUSABLE SCHEDULING ERROR AND THE FACT THAT THE FLC WAS RUSHED ALL DAY DUE TO WX AND OTHER EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CTL.
